help with homeschool laws in Mississippi

We have decided to pull DD out of kindergarten and homechool, possibly taking an unschool approach. I have been looking at the state laws through the HSLDA. It appears they do require notification but no standardized testing (yay!) but I am curious as to what is considered a "legitimate home instruction program". I also am wondering what to include in the "simple description" of the type of education they are receiving, particularly since we may take a lax / eclectic / unschool approach. Can any MS moms help me out?

Just write on there will be teaching Science, Math, Literature, History, Physical Education appropriate for Kindergarten.

If you have books you can list them but you don't have too.

You can find more info on my Homeschool Blog http://alasandras.blogspot.com/

Thanks! And can I say - WOW your blog looks awesome! Refreshing to see a diverse and inclusive perspective on homeschooling, particularly in our state. I will definitely be checking it out regularly.thumb.gif I checked out PEAK too. I am way up north in Hernando, but I may make some field trips down to Oxford as that is the closest chapter to us. I might check out some homechool groups in Memphis too.
