I've been busy shredding over here... Another 250 documents gone. I count each 4 documents as 1 item, so 62 items. That's a few filled to the brim garbage bags full of shredded paper for the animal shelter.
Also, 3 new small pots have been donated to my mama's kitchen. She was very happy to receive those pots!
I've got more clothes to sift through and lots of items awaiting ebay listings. I think I'll easily hit 1000 once they're sold (I am waiting till they are sold before including them in my total).
Lately I've been looking around at my house in awe. When we moved in almost two years ago, we (literally) made a narrow path to get to each room because every other inch of space was taken up by boxes, bags, furniture and other crap. We had no where to sleep except on our pushed together sofas and one squished mattress on the floor. NOW, we have beds set up to sleep in and room to *dance* in. We can actually dance around and not trip over shit. I can't believe it. If I put before and after pictures, I think some jaws would drop. Even my DH the hoarder, said that he was shocked at how much stuff we had (and we were already minimal in our possessions thanks to my constant decluttering)! I suppose once you move into an 800 sq ft house, even minimalist families need to part with more.
