And I'm super excited to be pregnant. I was shocked at first, a bit overwhelmed (unplanned) but now I can't wait for baby's arrival. My mom friends say, "ohh yes you can. We get 9 months to prepare."
I'm looking to have an out of hospital birth. Either birth center or home birth but now leaning more towards home birth. I hope to meet some moms and moms to be with similar ideas for birth plans as I love my friends and family but are only familiar with the current model of care in the US.
I'd like some support and someone who's been through that. Fortunately, my boyfriend is supportive and my mom will be (I hope).
