Hello there lovelies,
I am nearly positive that I read somewhere on here that there was scientific evidence that lactation blocks (or "fills") the progesterone receptors. Does anyone have any info on this? I recently had my progesterone tested (along with tons of other stuff) and found it to be surprisingly high even though I have so many symptoms pointing to it being low. Do you think it might be possible that the progesterone in my bloodstream is high enough but my body is not able top absorb enough due to lactation?
I am feeling irritable/depressed/overweight/low energy. I am BF a 22 month old and considering weaning due to all of this. In the past I noticed a shift in my body after weaning...but I don't want to wean for no reason since he is prob my last.
I am taking low dose armour, d3, b vitamins, progesterone cream (lowered dose due to test).
Any thoughts?
