Bajingo Mamas and Babies '11,'12, '13 - Page 4

Twins!  Congrats Lilac!

Look at that new baby face, Tear!  Beautiful!

I love Lyle in the pool!  Great pic!  He looks like a little cupie doll which is funny because I have another friend with a boy named Lyle who's older now but when he was a baby looked like a cupie doll too.

Happy mother's day to all the Bajingo mamas, including our mama-to-be Lilac and our mamas working on cooking #2.
Tank, that is so funny, never met another Lyle but I guess one of the babies on 16 and pregnant was named Lyle.

For those that may be interested, I found out yesterday that I am pregnant with twin BOYS!  Their boy parts were really obvious on the ultrasounds. I am so happy that they are healthy and growing.  DH is happy it is two boys.  It was what he was hoping for.  I was hoping for a boy and a girl but I am excited for 2 boys just the same.

Lilac!! Congratulations!! Boys are so great--let's add two more to Team Blue!! I'm so happy for you and your DH. I'm sure your extended families are over the moon as well. Keep us updated on your pregnancy!

I understand why this thread is so quiet. Cormac is 7 months old and basically the most awesome kid ever, but MAN he is busy!! I'm starting back to work teaching in a couple weeks after 8 months off. Definitely bittersweet for me--I've loved being home with him but I love teaching too. Any advice on transitioning back into the workplace after baby??

Love to all the Bajingo mamas!!

lilac - Twin boys! That's fantastic! Congratulations smile.gif

pitch - Going back to work is so hard. My advice only applies if your daycare is close to work... but for me, what made it bearable was giving up my breaks and lunch time to go and see Kayden at daycare. I negotiated with my boss before going back to take two half hour breaks to go see him twice a day. I'm sure teaching doesn't have the same flexibility of hours but could you drop by and see Cormac on your lunch break?

AFM - Just a few more weeks until #2 makes an appearance! I can't believe it's so close!!

Miss you gals!! Hope everyone is doing well! Life is SO busy with my adorable Cormac--9 months old tomorrow!!--and back to teaching. I'd love to hear how life is going with you all!

Wow, pitch, Cormac is adorable. I can hardly wait for my two boys to arrive sometime in the next 3 months.

Are there any 40-and-over mothers of little ones out there? I'm 42 and have a delightful ten-month-old, Luthien, who's currently commando-crawling all over. We also have an older daughter, Kathryn, whom we adopted as a teenager!

Pacific, I know there were 40s trying to conceive groups for awhile so I'm sure there are, maybe start a new thread!

Lilac, so excited for you!

Pitch, Cormac is soooo cute! I can't believe 9 months already.

Lyle is 14 months, life is so much fun, it's finally lovely cool (80s) weather and we're having a great time at the park etc.

Any of our other friends still around???

Taxlady had posted a quick message on the Pregnant Bajingos thread a few days ago, but didn't leave any details of what is going on in her life.

DH and I are trying to get our minds wrapped around the fact that in 6 to 10 weeks we will have 2 babies in our arms.  Absolutely wild!

Hi everybody! Living sky, now I want to go search and find your baby! How are you doing? Also crazy busy here. Pitch, I totally get that about teaching being intense. The profession is getting harder and more stressful. My lunch break is 30 minutes, and that includes dropping the kids off and going to pick them up again. There's also more work to do than fits in the day, so if I want to leave school at a reasonable hour I have to shove food down my throat while pumping and working on plans for the next week. Even so, I work 9 hour days without stopping for 2 minutes ever to catch my breath. Then I work correcting papers for an hour in te night while nursing. Anyway, that came out as a rant, but I just wantd to say pitch, I get it...I disappeared from any kind of social anything in September, too. Here's a picture of Freddy. He's six months now and startin to really play and develop a personality. love.gif

I am starting another thread for Bajingo Mamas and Babies - http://www.mothering.com/community/t/1395892/bajingo-mamas-and-babies-having-babies-in-our-30s-11-12-13-and-14

I am sure most of you have little children now - not so much babies any more but would love a check in from any ladies that are still coming to mdc anymore.
