We've co-slept for the past 6 years. I have 3 kiddos, pregnant with #4.
Is anyone else feeling "done" with co-sleeping (for now)?
My kids all start off in their own beds. They've done this starting at about 18mos and have done very well. They all freely come to our bed at whatever point in the night they wake up. They're 6, 5, and 3. They usually climb into our bed at varying times between 2-7am. This is not usually an issue for me, but for the past 2 weeks (I'm 4 weeks pregnant) I have been having THE HARDEST time sleeping once they climb into bed. I get hot, and I get uncomfortable in a cramped position. I have one kid on either side of me and one who cuddles at the end of the bed. This is our normal and has never been a problem before for either me or my DH.
Please reassure me that it's not going to last lol. Any gentle ideas to get them to stay in their beds longer if this unusual stress doesn't go away?
