Is it normal to be having some afterpains 3.5 weeks after birth? I've been having them for the last few hours, they're worse while baby is nursing and immediately after but I was walking around Target and they were hurting pretty bad then, too.
Also, something weird is going on with my urethra and I don't know if it's normal, or a concern. It doesn't hurt while I am peeing, but when I go to "stop the flow" it tightens up and there's lots of pressure... I wouldn't exactly call it painful, although it sometimes does kind of hurt. Occasionally I'll feel the same tightness/pain when I'm not peeing, like when I go to sit down if I've been doing a lot. I can't feel anywhere that hurts if I feel around down there. I do have one stitch that is very close to that area though (I had two labial tears, both were first degree and minor but the midwife stiched them because labial tears can heal together)...while pushing my urethra/clitoris area hurt so bad I was certain it was going to tear in half and the pains I get remind me of that pain on a small scale.
