We've seen some great discussions around the community this month that have raised hairs, evoke applause, warmed hearts and touched souls. Here are just a few that we want to share with you.
Evidence of government cover-up re: vaccines and autism is a discussion in our Vaccinations Discussion and Debate forum that looks at the concealment of a revised statement by "one of the most respected pediatric neurologists in the country" which contributed to the denial of awards to families claiming vaccine injury. Thanks to Taximom5 for starting this discussion and to all of those contributing their opinions and thinking on the subject. We look forward to more on this topic and how things develop in this regard.
Another great thread is ~December~ No-Spend Challenge -- Is your shopping finished? Time to come join us! This discussion, over in the Frugality & Finances forum, is a support thread to help you NOT spend your money! The forum's active members launch a new thread every month to help each other commit to their budget plans for the month. They offer great motivation and support so if you need help with staying on track with your budgeting - join in! Thanks to Crunchy*VTMom for leading the way for December 2012!
I drink and breastfeed is a hot topic deemed "Best thread ever!" by one of our readers, and has generated plenty of supportive comments. Started by MichelleZB, among its many posts is a very informative one from TiredX2 about alcohol content in breastmilk. Check out the discussion and let us know what you think of breastfeeding moms drinking alcohol.
Stormbride's Stocking stuffers! thread has generated some great ideas for last minute stocking gifts shopping. They have some very unique and mostly inexpensive suggestions - lists and lists of them! Do check it out, and be sure to iowaorganic's "akward" stocking stuffer incident.
