IGT, herbs and birthcontrol

I kind of have a two part question. I'm currently still pregnant (35wks) with my second. I have IGT/hypoplastic breasts, with also a breast surgery. I breast fed my 1st, but not very well. I'm working with a lactation consultant now. We are starting alfalfa now and goats rue next week. I'm looking into a variety of herbs after delivery (partly because I know you have to switch them every few weeks for effectiveness) My two questions are # 1: what herbs have you had good success with (the list my LC gave me had fenugreek, blessed thistle, alfalfa, fennel seed, nettle, milk thistle, goats rue, saw palmetto, chasteberry, and malunggay) #2: do these herbs affect the mini pill? I will be starting it at 6-8 weeks postpartum. Sorry for the long winded post

Welcome to MDC! I see your post was missed, thought I'd bump it up to give it some attention and see if anyone has anything to share :)

If you have issues with milk supply, I would not recommend hormonal birth control of any kind.
