Thank you! I thought I'd only get in a couple projects, but knitting for tiny ones is just so much fun.

Before I vacate the internet I thought I'd post what I have done so far.  I'm making a kind of mobile for above the changing table for distractions.  So far I have a star and a flower and want to add hearts as well.

Very cute!

very cute, we have one with fish (from Ikea) above our change table and my 23 month old still LOVEs it and now will give them all kisses while I change her. It only took me three years to realize that was the place for a mobile.

Cathy I love you mobile pieces!

My latest crafting has been for me! I don't need any more boyish blankets and clothes for the new guy, but I wanted to do something.    I made me a rice hot bag (my neck and shoulders love it)

And a little snuggle blankie for me.  Bigger than the kid's blankets, smaller than a twin, and light enough to not over heat.

,

I had to do something with the remnants I can't stop buying. :)

Cathy, really cute mobile idea!

Harmie, I love the owl rice bag! It certainly beats mine, rice in an old sock of DH's. ROTFLMAO.gif

Starting to get excited about making things since we found out the sex and have completed our move! I'm hoping DS will take a nap today so I can play with my sewing machine.

That was EXACTLY what my old rice bag was.  Although, I always seemed to have custody of that one.  My new one has already been used as a pet, a doll, and a beanbag.  It may be back to the sock for me.  rolleyes.gif

Yay for having your move completed!

Aww, I hope you don't have to go back to a sock! Maybe you could hide the owl?

Finally finished a quilt and the backpack for DS to carry snacks on our hikes!

My first pair of socks aren't going as planned.  I thought that I knit way tighter than I do, so I think I am going to try shrinking them/felting them when they are done!  We'll see how that goes.  Other than this, we have been building here, so a different kind of crafting I guess!

How pretty!

OK, now I have no excuse.  A JoAnn's fabric was liquidating one of the local stores because it was moving into a big fancy new space in a couple of weeks and I got a whole shopping cart full of fabric for ridiculous prices.  Some for baby, some for the boys (for pajama pants/shorts), one pretty for me for a skirt someday (plus a little dress perhaps, gotta have one mommy/daughter matchy-matchy outfit, right?  Or maybe not...).

I figure once it gets hot and I get cranky, I'll want to spend more time in my craft room in the basement. ROTFLMAO.gif

@LeighPF

This is a wonderful quilt! I made one (though bigger) just like this for my sister. Now I kind of wish I had enough time/patience to make another one for myself! I'm still working on finishing the rest (back/binding/quilting).

I will totally make another one, possibly for me, just using bigger blocks. It was quite easy and hides not quite perfect well.

Here's Baby A's blanket, just finished!  I'll be making a similar blanket for Baby B but try to modify the sheep pattern to make cows.

Oh it's SO cute Edelweiss- beautiful work! Is it all knitted or crocheted? Are the sheep part of the actual blanket or embroidered on it? (Viewing on my phone and can't enlarge it) I love it!

Thank you! It's crocheted and the sheep were crocheted separately and then sewn on with embroidered eyes, ears, and tails. I had never embroidered with yarn before and it was a little frustrating at times!
