Who names their babies pre-birth? I don't mean real names, but fun names. Our last one was Daequan D'Brickashaw. We're thinking about Oliver Boliver Butt for this one but haven't completely decided. :-)

We call ours baby bird or birdie. After we had seen the picture of the embryo (we did IVF) and before we knew if it implanted DH called it bubbles because of the way the cells looked.

My son calls the babe NeNe. Hopefully babe is a girl so we can keep using it.

I've had a habit of falling back on astrology - this one's the Baby Lion, before which I miscarried the Baby Crab.  In retrospect, there's a bright side to having lost the Baby Crab, for on the off chance of twins I'm sure I would have thoughtlessly ended up saying at some point, "I have crabs."  :P  I have no idea what I would do if I were pregnant with trickier signs - The Water Bearer, The Scales, The Virgin, The Twins.  Yeah, I am fairly certain I will have to come up with a different nicknaming system eventually ;)

I've called mine 'blasto' like blastocyst. my sister and I call each other blisto, so she texts me saying "blisto, how is lil blasto?"

DD was Beaner, DS was Peanut, this one looked like a frog on the US so might go with Frogger!

Precious!  We were looking at baby names and we both laughed when we read that.  We were both thinking of the Lord of the Rings.  Our little Precious.
