Not sure what I 'm going to do

I'm new here. Would love to have a home birth. Live in a state where midwifery is frowned upon. No Midwife in my area:(. My due date is coming right up. I'm planning on going to the same birthing place I did with my last 2 births. The place is wonderful, but is 6-8 hrs away. I'm overwhelmed right noe with Christmas and planning for this trip to have the baby...I just want to stay home and have the baby by myself. My husband is not on board with that. I have no support here from anyone, but I really want to have the baby at home.

Welcome to MDC!  I can not imagine how stressful that sort of planning must be around the holidays!  I hope you can find a solution that will work for you.
