BFN but my chart is looking triphasic

I'm not supposed to be TTC.  I want another baby, but DH does not.  We are using charting and withdrawal for birth control, but I just started charting again this cycle, midway through.  When I first started temping, I thought I had already ovulated, because my basal was in the high 97 range.  For me, my basal is usually 97 and after I O, it is up toward 98.  Turns out, I hadn't ovulated, though, because all of a sudden I had this huge temp dip and a bunch of EWCM.  So, I am positive of the day I O'd, even though my basal is misleading.  I'm now 15 DPO with no period and a temp of 98.2.  I took a pregnancy test yesterday tho, and it was negative.  Historically, the only time I have had temps over 98 was when I was pregnant.  I'm not sure if I am seeing things because I really want to be pregnant or what.
