Hi I am new to the Mothering Forums. I have been posting on other pregnancy/parenting forums but had a hard time fitting in because of my 'alternative' parenting choices for which I took a lot of heat.

Hoping this will be a better experience for me!

I am a SAHM with my 14 month old daughter. My husband is very hands on and helps A LOT.  We do selective vaccines, extended breastfeeding, we did co-sleep however we both sleep better on our own so DD is now in her own room (but not until she turned 1), love baby wearing especially with my petite little girl. We are expecting baby number two and are beyond thrilled. I am going to attempt tandem nursing, so far so good. So I guess that is me smile.gif

I loved tandem nursing my first two. They would pat each other or throw and arm around each other. We did it for 8 or 9 months.

Here, everything you describe is middle of the road "normal"

Hi and welcome! I spent my first pregnancy stirring s*!t up on the mainstream baby boards. I think I got a little bit of a thrill shocking the really mainstream people. By my second pregnancy I was tired of it and stuck to these groups. It was a nicer experience. :)
