Molluscum contagiosum - raised bumps on torso

Also called water warts I guess.  Anyone have any experience with this? My son has 5-6 bumps on his torso in a straight line. By googling it I believe it is Molluscum contagiosum, a skin virus. But from what I read, they can take 6-9 mths to go away!!

We have been trying a natural remedy of tee tree oil and iodine, but they have begun to spread. Anyone know of a good way to get rid of these of have advice if their child had them?

take a look at silvercure products.  Specifcally, the soap, ointment, and their healing pen.  It's available on amazon.com from their website at http://www.phillipsbiomedical.ca

My son had molluscum for over a year. We tried aldara, zymaderm, even had some removed with acid, nothing worked.

I went to a new doc and she told me to get MolluscumRx. She said she has used it for a couple years and has had great results.

Within a few days the lesions started to respond. By about 3 weeks they were completly gone. The best part was that the treatment did not hurt my son or his skin.

I wish I had known about this stuff sooner. I hope this will help other moms.

Is this available over the counter or only by a prescription? I haven't taken him to a doc yet. Is it a cream or taken orally?
