Teacher Xmas gifts?

So my daughter is in Kindergarten and there are two classes and two teachers. She has a main teacher but they team teach so she often is with the other teacher. Would you get them both a gift? I say yes but just wondering what the general thought is there? I'm new to this Xmas time and teacher thing so I need opinions! Also teacher aides/classroom helpers who are in the class everyday? is it mean to leave them out? do they normally get stuff??

I had this problem too... My son has a teacher and 2 aides in his class that are with him everyday. In addition to a bus bus driver and a bus aid and then he has a speech therapist and an occupational therapist he sees regularly. That's 7 gifts. I didn't feel it was fair to just give his teacher a gift because all the others have just as much interaction with him, but at the same time 7 gifts is a lot, so I just gave thoughtful cards to all. IMO it's an all or nothing deal.

That's what I was thinking too, but I'm not 100% sure how many aides they actually have in the classroom! I know of one who actually also visits my sons preschool so she sees both my kids but then I didn't know if I gave her a gift where do I stop? I'm not sure how many more helpers they have in the kindergarten class or their names there are also people who I know help at lunch time... so it gets tricky!! My gifts are fabric tote bags that I make- I figured those are useful gifts for teachers. I gave 2 to my sons preschool teachers already but that was easy b/c they also had my daughter last year and I really like them both :) My first thought was just the main teachers get gifts and that's probably the norm but now I'm second guessing myself and don't want to leave anyone out but also I'm tired of sewing!!

That sounds like a great gift. Do you think you could do something like homemade cookies instead? I know a mom who did candied popcorn.
