Coughing then vomitting

Question: Addison is waking up coughing so hard she is vomiting. Call the dr. on call or wait until morning and call or wait until a normal business day and call or don't call at all?? Advice?? I'm still new at all this.

I would definitely call ASAP. Coughing and vomiting, while it may just be a severe cold, is also a sign of pertussis.
