...especially if you live in the south. We're expecting severe thunderstorms Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, then the full moon is on the 28th. I'll be 36 weeks on Christmas Day, so I doubt either the storms or the full moon will do anything regarding putting me into labor, but the combo just might do the trick for Mamas further along!

I feel like I could go at any time. I've been having pre-labor contractions for a few days (for me they are stronger than BH and I can feel my cervix changing, but they aren't terribly strong like full on labor contractions and they only happen every few hours or so) and I've been feeling off today, like I'm alternating starving and feeling slightly nauseated. I'll be 38 weeks on Wednesday and I'm hoping to hold off until then! (I don't want a Christmas baby, and I want to be home with my family through the holiday!)

I know. How exciting!!!  I'm almost 38 weeks, but I don't see her coming for at least another week.  I'm not in a hurry, but a 2012 baby would be a welcome surprise indeed!

Maybe that's what's going on with me! I had menstrual cramp like feelings off and on today coupled with regular, intense Braxton Hicks that lasted for several hours, and I was seriously thinking something might be going on. My labor with my daughter started like that, but with her, there were no false starts!! I'm so confused! It's all puttered out now- I'll be 39 weeks Thursday. I didn't have my daughter until 41 weeks plus one day, so I really wasn't expecting to go before my due date this time. Now I'm feeling discouraged and confused. I hate not knowing what the "real thing" will feel like this time. I sure hope it's soon, though .

I have been having some pretty convincing contractions as well-I'm 38 wks 2 days so I wouldn't be surprised if something happens this week.

Oh, how exciting to be at this point already! Both DS1 and DS2 were born on full moons; at 41 weeks and 39 weeks respectively. This baby is due on the Jan full moon, so I am holding out until then :)

Interesting I keep thinking I will go this weekend(which would be really crazy since I would only be 36 weeks and my other two came right on time) or on her due date January 27th.  The funny thing is because I am so into astrology I looked up what the moon is in for those two weekends and both it is Leo ohh I would love a little leo moon baby!    

Ok in other news the other night when I had a orgasm I had a huge contraction, it was really strange and really big(both the orgasm and the contraction).  Then the another night I was half asleep half awake with a huge contraction and it felt very sexual like instead of a thing coming down like a thing going up and then coming down(ok no way to explain the sensation I guess)  But it has me wondering if this birth is going to be more sexual than my other two...maybe I will be one of the lucky ladies that gets off by having a skull pass through her yoni...I dunno   lol

I'm 1 cm and 75% effaced.  The baby has dropped as well.  So basically it could be tomorrow or 3 weeks from now, lol. Kind of hoping for a December baby but not rushing it or holding my breath!

Full moons, yes!  My last DDC was January 2010, and there was a real *blue moon* on New Year's Eve.  Of course, we were all excited, how cool would it be to be born on a Blue Moon?  I was looking at the full moon last night, beautiful cold and clear.  Unfortunately, it didn't help me last time around...but I'll be thrilled if this one arrives by her edd and doesn't make me wait seemingly indefinitely.
