Refried beans okay for 9 month old?

They are canned which I hate, but it's rare that we eat them and just wondering if DS can eat what the family is eating in our burritos. It's Rosarita vegetarian if that makes a difference. It does have a little bit of salt.

I gave them to my babies around that age and had no problems.

DS *loved* refried beans at that age. He didn't seem to have any problems.

My babe (11 months old) LOVES beans.  And, she prefers food that tastes like food... so she's had refried beans several times and has rejected blandly cooked pinto beans in favor of the full flavor refried beans the rest of the family was eating. 

Aside from the fact that it is from a can (which I do sometimes but don't feel great about) I don't see any downside to refried beans.

They've been a favorite of my 1 year old's for months. They are super easy (and cheap!) to make, too. I'll never go back to canned refried beans!
