Family doctor or internist on Long Island/Queens

Hi All,  I am having weird skin infections/psoriasis that I can't get rid of and need to see some sort of GP.  I can't find any info on any good ones though - who are willing to look at the health of the whole body.  Does anyone have a doctor they really like?

I see your post was missed. I thought I'd bump it up to give it some attention and see if anyone has a recommendation to share.

Not sure where on LI you are, but I see Dr. Holly Bienenstock in Port Washington.  I like her and I've heard from a lot of others who also like her.  She's a DO, which theoretically means that she should have a more "whole body" mindset.  She seems to, although I haven't honestly pushed her that hard.  I had Shingles last year and she WAS very knowledgeable about what I could and couldn't take as a nursing mama...and didn't flinch when I said that I was nursing 2.5 year old twins, which is something in and of itself!  HTH!
