anyone have bad gas pains that cause tightenings and cramps?

i am 33 1/2 weeks and i have had multiple times in the past 2 months where i have had cramping and tightening that could last for a few hours. they are scary, but they always go away and i am back to normal. just wondering if anyone else experiences anything similar? i know the intestines and uterus are close to each other but its so annoying!

I know what you mean, sometimes it's hard to differentiate between the two. I've been taking digestive enzymes to try to keep things moving so the pressure doesn't compound the baby weight sitting on my cervix. What a difference a bowel movement makes :) (sorry if it's TMI, but it seems like not much is by the time you are close to the end of a pregnancy)

Yes! Sometimes I get combination Braxton-Hicks contractions and crampy gas pain -- no.fun.at.all. Hope you are feeling better.
