Anyone obsessively checking toilet paper...

...desperately hoping for evidence something is happening? I can't be alone in my delusions. Lol

your not! I am not due till near the end of Jan but I have been checking quite frequently due to crazy contractions! Sheepish.gif

Yes, I defInitely check every time! If I forget (which is rare), I'm immediately kicking myself for it. Maybe one of these days I'll see something!

Yep. But I've never gotten bloody show or a mucus plug falling out or anything. I just start contracting and it eventually picks up (well, except for my water breaking with my first child). But I do check like crazy just in case. :)

memememe.

I even had a dream last night that I lost the plug and I was so psyched... until I woke up!  Bummer.

I totally lost it the morning DD was born last time around... lost it at like 8 am and she was born at 1 pm.  (Contrax started at about 11 am.)

I am ready for this to happen.  I think I figured out that I did have lightening, I'm constantly sleeping (getting ready?) nauseated, but not enough to actually feel "sick" like from the flu or anything.

Blood sugars have even dropped a bit.

Baby was just looked at on the U/S on Monday and looks good, NST's show very happy and active baby... Even by the most conservative dates I'm almost 36 weeks which might sound crazy early but my other kiddos were born at 37 and 36 weeks with no health issues, so I think they just run early...

I'm contracting every 2-3 minutes (have been for weeks now, though).  And some of them hurt!

Checking here!  A little surprised I haven't seen my mucous plug yet...lost it a week to the day before DD1 arrived, and just about a month before DD2's birth.  I'm having fairly steady contractions this morning, though, so maybe it will come soon.

I probably should have restocked our tp supply at the store yesterday!

Checking here also.  :)

Me too!!  I just feel like this baby is ready to come soon - I've been contracting, head is fully engaged and I just have that "feeling"...you know?  Maybe just wishful thinking?  Let's hope not!!

I didn't ever notice a plug with my other two but I actually checked myself the other day because of all the contractions and I was at least 1 and 1/2 and very strectchy soft still quite posterior though but there was mucous on my fingers which totally freaked me out and I have promised myself not to check myself anymore...I know that it doesn't matter what I am but making myself lose my mucous plug seems like not a good idea.  God I am ready to be done being pregnant though!

Is anyone else having a ton more discharge lately?  Having to change my underwear midday sometimes..ugg

Yes, I'm having lots more discharge as well, but no signs of my plug. :/

Lots and lots of discharge here too, but no plug. I hope I'm either going to have this baby right quick or chill out about it, because I don't want to spend the next 1-3 weeks crazily obsessing over toilet paper, discharge, and the strength of every contraction.

Good luck everybody!  It will be really exciting when the births stories start rolling in!

Yep, count me in, too.
I lost it with DS1 but didn't with DS2 so I'm not really sure what to expect.

ditto! It's insane. I've been in early labor for 2.5 weeks now and I usually only do it for about 3 weeks max before baby shows up...

AND we have a mucous plug!!

TMI for every other venue, and even DH got squicked out when I mentioned it to him... but I know at least I can share here.  =P

Ps bloody show here. Is there a difference between plug and bloody show? If it was bloody could that mean that active labor is more imminent?

Aww guys, you're making me jealous with all that blood and mucus! Only on here will you get that reaction, right?  winky.gif

Seriously, good luck ladies!  I hope you are on track to have wonderful amazing births!

LOL

No mucous plug here, but I did need to eat my weight in food and have been crampy. I did the same thing only a handful of hours before labor started with DS2, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
