Itchy red spots on breasts

My son is 6 weeks old and I just noticed some red spots on each of my breasts - 2 on one and 1 on the other. They are itchy and look like bug bites though I know they're not. They are on the breast skin, not the nipple or areola, and on both sides they are sort of at the edge of my bra (which mskes me wonder if my bra is digging in too much and causing problems). Any idea what this could be? Plugged ducts, thrush, beginning of mastitis? I have some very mild shooting pain every so often but I have no other symptoms yet. Thanks in advance.

Google Tinea versicolor. I only have a little on my stomach, bra line, and back--so don't let Google images deter you.  Mine start out as little red patches before they fade to white. I had it before BFing but it got worse along my bra line while nursing because of the frequent dampness and heat.
