I could also have one of the vanilla spice latte's from starbucks twice a day if I followed my cravings. I have an espresso machine and cardomom so I should really just make it at home. The real issue is that I always talk myself out of the whipped cream when I am at the store and I am mostly in it for the whipped cream.
Mmmmm, whipped cream! I buy it all the time now. I justify it because it's handy to have on hand for cooking (a little in a dish like a pan gravy goes a long way!) and then I can use it in my coffee and not have to buy 2 kinds of cream
To make it more dangerous, I got one of those nitrogen whip cream dispensers as a Christmas gift. My MIL has one and I've been coveting it, partly so I can make coconut milk whip cream for DS (that's how I'm justifying it at least!). I don't even have to use beaters anymore!!! And Co, I am with you. The Whip Cream IS the best part!!!
I was terribel this weekend. I did some major carb loading. I am good during the week when I pack my lunches (always a piece of fruit and usually a salad included) but on the weekends my willpower seems to weaken substantially...Yesterday, toast for breakfast, a croque monsieur at the farmers market for lunch (with some greens on the side), and lasagna for supper, and some corn chips with sour cream in the evening. At least I put zucchini and egg plant in the lasagna, and did have raspberries for a snack but not the kind of diet for building a baby! lol.
