I'm sure there's been a thread on this before so feel free to drop a link if you know of one :)

SO I got an Ergo from my mother in law (yay!) for Xmas, and because it was a gift, I have to admit I looked into authenticating it because I know she probably isn't privy to the counterfeit issue and I didn't ask where she got it, didn't seem appropriate christmas morning... Def a legit Ergo, I didn't know they had changed their logo (to the orange shell) and box recently so I panicked for a minute there! so stoked!

But while doing my research I started looking into amber necklaces because my 6mo is teething bad and he got an amber teething necklace as a gift awhile back that I started using just now. I know this one is from Amazon- art of the cure. I didn't see a lot of reviews calling fake, but I did some of the tests- salt water (floated, good sign), solvent (no melting/stickiness, good), and fridge (didn't get very cold, warmed up super fast)... I tried the hot pin test, supposed to smell pine resin but no smell/ not doing it right or maybe the beads are just too tiny. Should I take all the other test passing as a good sign? Any experience? Or know anything about the brand?

Thank you :)
