Started announcing at 9 weeks! « Back to Group Discussions

We had planned to wait at least till week 12, but we just couldn't help ourselves.

We had his parents over for dinner and told them, then Skyped my parents (out of town) and told them with the whole gang together. There were a lot of surprised gasps and "I can't believe it"s, but mostly it was a happy moment. (We had a few doubts since we are unmarried and this was unplanned!) 

After that we started calling close friends, and plan to send out some mass emails this weekend. 

YAY! 

Did anyone else plan to wait but gave in?

We had planned to wait until Christmas, when I would be 10 weeks.

We told at about 3 weeks 6 days. Even on facebook! I decided this time, people were going to celebrate the heck out of my pregnancy for as long as it was possible.

So don't feel bad! :) Glad it went well for you.

Yay!   How exciting to share your good news!  Most of our family knew our news for a while, but we were able to announce in person to extended family at a party near Christmas.  It was fun!

I was sooo relieved! We did a tiered thing and got it around to all the distant friends and relatives in the week it took me to draw up a cute card :). Glad to know not everyone is safe and cautious ;)
