When the new season starts, we'll all have to reconvene (sp?), and share our thoughts (and critiques). It's like having our own little Buffy club here on Mothering.

I was just wondering... Buffy died (again), so doesn't that mean there should be a 3rd slayer somewhere?

i've been wondering about the slayer line of succession myself. really, faith is still the slayer, but since she's in prison she isn't really doing her job, right? so is there some slayer by-law that will draft the next in line? buffy's second death shouldn't count, since they had already called up kendra and then faith after her first death.

are you kidding? pick any two random characters and I can find you a site with slash (i.e. erotica/porn) with them as the leading stars. (Xander/Giles? Buffy/Willow? etcetcetcetc)

hmmm, and a 3rd slayer. You're right! I still wonder what they'll do about willow the addict/killer. I like where they ended up, but that episode (twop referred to it as the "after school special" ) really bugged me. Think the govt paid them for that story line?

Has anyone bought the DVD's? I have the first season (I think the second one is coming out soon), but I haven't watched it yet (although I did watch the re-runs recently on FX - they conveniently started right after ds was born!). Are the extras any good?

Oooo - I'm so glad I saw this thread! I have been a Buffy fan since the series began, but don't tell too many - they just don't understand if they haven't seen it. Three of my siblings watch as well so I usually dish with them about it - especially the outrageously graphic Buffy/Spike porno scenes - yikes!! I'll have to check in after the new season begins!
