Choroid Plexus Cysts (CPC's) at 20 weeks pregnant

Has anyone else had any experience with these showing up on baby's ultrasound? My dr. didn't seem too concerned at all, she said they are normal but there is a rare connection between them and Down/Edwards syndrome so she scheduled me for a level 2 in about 3 weeks. I realize she says all is well, but it is so much more relieving hearing other momma's stories. Thanks all! blowkiss.gif

They were found at my dd's 20 week ultrasound and were gone by the 28 week follow up. Even if they persist past birth they usually go away on their own during the first year. If you have no risk factors for downs I wouldn't worry about it.

I will find out in a couple weeks at my level 2 appointment. I know I shouldn't worry, it's just tough not to! Thanks for your reply :)
