Chances of Pregnancy?

Basically I had sex twice 6 days before my ovulation day, I pretty much jot down everthing that happens with my body in relation to my period and possible pregnancys signs.

Coming up to my ovulation day I dont have much Cm until the day of O, but the day after sex I seemed to have quite alot and the next couple of days were the same..

For these few days after sex I had a kinda of stingy pain in my left ovary (im not sure if that is the ovary but it was in that general area) the pain lasted about three days in total and then calmed down.

Im sure it cannot be implantation because I didn't have any bleeding and I have not yet ovulated On the other hand my periods are irregular, could it be that i Ovulated early? if so then this was really early for me.

Has anyone else had this and then found out they were pregnant? If so on what day did you test and get a BFP and what were your symptoms?

Katniss It is so hard to say!! My understanding is that in ideal conditions, meaning your timing is just right and you are both healthy, you have about a 20% chance of conception in any given cycle. Obviously timing intercourse close to ovulation is helpful, and can increase your chances.The left ovary pain you described a few days after sex sounds like ovulation pain to me. Mine often lasts between 1-3 days. How do you know when you ovulated? Are you using OPKs to track ovulation? Charting with temps? Pinpointing when Ovulation occurs is always tricky and more so with irregular cycles. Implantation occurs 6-12 days after ovulation/conception, on average it happens at 8-10 DPO (Days Post Ovulation) and can be accompanied by spotting/bleeding (IB or Implantation Bleeding) and/or cramping or it may not. Only about 1/3 of women report IB. For most women, a HPT won't detect a pregnancy until at least 10-12 DPO and for many, not until a missed period or later and most women do not experience symptoms of pregnancy until after their BFP. Symptoms can only begin after implantation. Anything you might notice before then is likely progesterone mediated post ovulation symptoms. Good luck to you!!

When I was about 16 I found out that my periods are irregular so I kept track of when they came and what I felt. I know from that that the pain I felt could possibly be ovulation pain because when I was younger the pain was sometimes much worse for me and so of course I went to have my ovaries checked and thankfully everything is fine and I didn't have any cysts.

Anyway it just seems too early for me to be ovulation so this time im just not sure, I use this handy little app on my phone to keep track of things like symptoms, days and dates my period comes and goes, it definitly shows im irregular but what worries me is if its not giving me the correct dates for when I ovulate. I usually no because *!TMI WARNING!* I get quite a bit of CM and a few days ago I had abundant stringy Cm which was a bit like egg white.

I would believe it was ovulation but it seems too close after my period ended for it to be that.

I have no intention of testing only to get a BFN because everytime I get a BFN its like a slap in the face =_=

We are both healthy and have no problems I just wish I knew what this was

I sit nursing my 2yo daughter who was conceived as a result of dtd on cd8, and which ovulation ocurred 6 days later. i'm convinced that's why she's a girl. i got a bfp 10dpo. i never have symptoms before i test, so there were no indications.

also, i'm currently in the tww now, trying for a girl and having dtd again on cd8 and 9, expecting to ovulate 6 days later. i ovulated 3 days early, on cd 11! strange for me, but nothing out of the norm i don't think.

same here (6 to 7dpo). maybe i should test. i'm dieing!

I dont see why not I tested and clearly there is something there i just hope its not another evap line i cannot handle another evap line :( test and if you see ANYTHING post a picture :) lets see if you get what i did?

Okay so i took another test and got the same result but it happened under the 3 minute time limit... so does that mean its not an evap line?

i thought it would be darker by now though

See same thing but the light made it look lighter i will try get a better picture later but when its small its easier to see i think

pretty sure i see something, but i can't be certain since i'm not familiar w/ those tests. maybe someone w/ a trained eye will chime in. in any case, i hope this is the real deal for you! afm, i will test friday when i'm 10dpo. stay tuned. :)

katnisse, how have things turned out? i'm out this cycle as i ovulated a bit too early i think. trying again in a week!

I might be out too but im still getting that weird line on the tests im going to leave it and wait and see if AF comes
