Happy New Year!

I'm happy to be on board on Mothering.com!

I have a teen, a tween and an 8 year old - I'm a mama first - but my work is in BABIES and PREGNANT MAMAS!

I'm a doula and childbirth educator and it's a true privilege and joy to do what I do! I'm writing a lot too - I blog at www.motherscircle.net on parenting from pregnancy through teens - I always wanted to be a writer, who knew it would take the form of a blog! :-)
 

I'm also excited to be launching a new childbirth education class - a Baby Moon Education Weekend in Mystic, CT

It's been so much fun making the arrangements, planning the weekend and getting goodies to fill the gift bags!

Welcome to MDC, Leah!  It sounds like your kids are similar in ages to mine.  I've got a 13, 11, and 9 yr old.  You might want to check out the teen and preteen forums.  :)
