Third Trimester: Here we come! « Back to Group Discussions

Depending on which source you look at, the third trimester starts around week 27 or 28, and as we end December and get into January, we should all be hitting that magical week!

I can not believe I'm at week 27 already. This pregnancy seems to be moving at light speed all of the sudden! It seemed to be crawling along for so long, but not anymore! I'm feeling very overwhelmed with everything that needs to get done before this little guy makes his debut!

Yay!  Congrats all you 3rd tri'ers!!!  I can't wait...it seems like the days are just slugging by, and I keep thinking in my head that I'm further along than I really am (and then I get disappointed when I realize I'm wrong!).  I feel like this pregnancy can't go fast enough- as if just getting it over with leaves less time for things to go wrong...but at the same time, after my last couple of years I worry that I may not have any more successful pregnancies and I want to try and cherish every moment, even the horribly painful, miserable ones. ;)

I'm just now starting into week 24, so I still have a couple 3 weeks, but I can't believe it's gone by so fast! I also can't stop thinking about all the stuff that needs to be done/got before NB gets here, and... I really hope that we don't have to wait until the end of March to file taxes (due to the fiscal cliff issue[s], none of which I know much about, admittedly), because we are planning to use our tax check for a good portion of it.

It does seem like it's flying by, though. Which is good in some ways, and not so fun in others.

I'm 27 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe it I feel like I've been pregnant forever lol

I'm 26w3d today, so I've got 4 days to go before I'm 27w.  Which is INSANE to me.  SO not ready for a baby!  This pregnancy has really flown by for me.  We haven't even really begun discussing names yet!  Yikes.

I'm 26W 1D today so I still have 6 days. I can't believe I have only that much time and I'm in my last trimester! I think where I am going every two weeka now, the pregnancy will go by faster to me. I only have two night sleepers, 3 onesies, 3 caps, and 1 box of newborn Pampers. I hope to get taxes done early too, as that is what I plan on using to get the big stuff (like crib, car seat etc...)

25w2d here so a little bit longer for me but I was *just* thinking about how that number is creeping up. This pregnancy has gone by very quickly for me as well. I am not yet feeling super overwhelmed at things to do before she gets here. Maybe because I already did a huge declutter and the bedroom swap? I dunno but I'm sure I'll get hit with the nesting bug again soon. I am seriously considering hiring out a deep cleaning service before the baby gets here. I guess I should get looking into that huh?

Wow, only 22w 6d here, but I've always gone early, so hopefully I'll catch up at the end.

It's funny, my last 2 were born at the opposite end of the year in Oct (and the one before that in Sep), so I'll say things to myself like "now it's like the beginning of June..." I'm sooo happy not to have to do the 3rd trimester in the summer this time!

26 weeks today only 7 weeks to go for us! Its crazy that in 7 weeks we will have 3 newborns.. i pray they stay in till their c section date of 2-25-13!!!

i am on mod bed rest now and am already bored! 

we have the nursery ready diapers ready and lots of clothes!

LOL I am measuring  35 weeks for a singleton.. But there are 3 babies in here! :)

I'm at week 26 and everything has flown by so far. Best. Pregnancy. Yet.  If I could have a guarantee that the next would be like this AND we could afford all these kids, DH just might get aan other one out of me.  Still..I've really slowed down in the last week though.

I'll be 26 weeks on Tuesday. :) I see my midwives again on Wednesday and will see what I'm measuring then, but last month I was measuring right on.

We are 27 weeks today. The books I am reading count week 28 as when the third trimester officially starts - but I had to come post here anyway!

I hate how every single resource converts weeks to months to trimesters differently! Drives me nuts!

I'll be 27 weeks on the 27th. Works for me :) It's different to be in a birth club and due at the end of the month. My other girls were born on the 9th and 18th of their respective months and this time I am due the 28th.

Lisanne - I can relate. DD1 was due on Halloween (had her the 29th) and it was torturous to see everyone progressing quicker than I did. I tended to hang out more in the November group because of that.

I get that, too!  Only once have I been due at the beginning of a month.  The rest of the time (later losses included, otherwise it wouldn't feel so significant) I've always been at the end.  I have enough trouble dealing with the days...hours...minutes...dragging on and on at the end of pregnancy, but it always makes it feel so much longer when you're last in line!

I'm also due at the end of the month. I think it was hardest during the first trimester when people were ending their first trimester and I was in the throes of it.

With my previous, I was due on the 28th and gave birth on the 16th. The one before that, I was due on 11/7, but gave birth at the end October. People from the original ddc were still giving birth well into Dec, it was so strange.

I find it hard to keep track of the months. Weeks are so much easier. I guess I just count backward from the due date for the months.
