Third Trimester: Here we come! - Page 2 « Back to Group Discussions

I count the weeks, too. One book tells me I was in the 3rd tri at 25 weeks, another says I won't hit it till week 27 or 28! 

It's so crazy to think about actually going early. I guess I always went on this assumption that generally a first time mom will go "over" the projected due date. It would be strange to suddenly be having my baby and still have a week or 2 until my maternity leave starts. I set my maternity leave to start on the week of my due date- especially because (without a doctor's note, which hopefully I will have from my midwife) I only get 6 weeks paid, and had to plan around that.

This is what I have on my keyboard at work and at home for the kids. I highlight the weeks as they go by and it really helps the kids and my co-workers "keep up" :)

That's really cool, but just goes to show that it is complicated!

I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and I think I'll just consider it close enough to be called 3rd trimester. ;)

I'Ll be 28 Weeks tomorrow. 11 Weeks to go, it's hard to believe! In some ways I feel like a first time mom. My DD is six and a half, so it's been a while!

I'm another month-straddler. I'm May 5 but expecting to go mid-April. All of you seem light years ahead of me!! I want to be in the third trimester! I feel like I relate to a lot of the comments and complaints here better than the May group. I'm almost 24 weeks now, although I don't know what I measure. I'll have to ask my doc next week!

I hear you! My youngest is 7, and I'm 27 weeks, 2 days. This whole pregnancy is flying by so fast.

I only have a few things to pick up...some waterproof and portable underpads for the baby's space in our bed...a few prefolds...and a carseat.

My granddaughter turns 1 toward the end of April, and I'm due April 11, but I have gone longer with all of my babies except the last. Shewas actually born on her due date!

Sigh. New baby skin, new baby cuddles...slinging and singing and curling up with my family around a warm baby. I am so excited to get to do this one more time.
