I don't normally post things promoting a company, haven't even taken the time to post a review, so I hope this is OK. Look at my history, and you'll see I've been around a while.
I just had such a great experience with this program, and it's so Mothering-Friendly that I had to share. I did the last session of Lighten-Up with them, and it was awesome. It seems like something Mothering Mamas would be into. Clean eating, lots of veggies. There are vegan and vegetarian versions, along with one for those who eat meat. I really enjoyed it, and I wanted to mention that now they are turning it into a course that anyone can take at any time. There is a group on FB for it for daily support and I got tons of recipes that are truly healthy and not that fake, trying to look healthy stuff. It made it easier to have some new non-processed meals. I ate mostly raw on this program. Now I have to get back into it. I took some time off for Christmas, and the cookies and such crept back in. So have a few of the pounds that I lost. LOL! It includes fitness videos, yoga videos, videos by a relationships expert, recipes, digital copy of a daily journal, all sorts of things. I wasn't really sure if I should try it because there wasn't much info out there on it, but I was so glad I did. I already was making most food from scratch, but it's easier to keep up when you have support. Plus, I thought I had seen all of the recipe ideas out there, but I got some new ideas. I couldn't believe how much more energy I had when I was getting so much raw fruits and veggies. The first week I did gluten free too, but added some sprouted wheat back in for quick lunches. I ended up losing 10 pounds in 6 weeks, which was unexpected. My weight loss had been really stalling up until that point. I'm also excited because now that they changed it to a course, I can stay on the Facebook group without having to pay a member fee again. Here's the link for anyone who wants to try it.
