DH is in the ICU and his physical therapist was wearing a mask, aka the mark of a flu shot refuser. She said this was her third year of refusing and having to wear a mask. The difference for her this year is the fact she feels other staff members are attacking her for her choice more now. She said that she feels that her health is important and she will not compromise it with a flu shot. She also mentioned a conversation with a family member of a patient, he said that it seems like a double standard is going on, as the hospital/ICU doesn't require unvaxed visitors to wear a mask. I didn't have the heart to tell her that the 12 year old boy standing next to me (DS) has never had a vaccine in his life. Walking germ factory and all that! 
Oh, they tried to convince DH to have the flu and a tetanus shots (which I guess would have been the Tdap), of course he refused. But how crazy to want to vaccinate a sick man.
