Eeeps!! Totally spaced on this, but my little dude was in the hospital last week with respiratory distress. I have a midwife appointment on Thursday though...so hoping to get them then.

Okay, ladies, some of you may have gotten this message already, as I'm not 100% familiar with the PM system here on Mothering, but I've had another mama message me this afternoon asking if there was any way she could still join, she missed the sign-ups, but is still interested. There were a couple of people who got my accidental mass-message that said they wouldn't mind adding an extra bead to their packages (if they hadn't sent them out yet), or that they would be willing to mail a bead to this mama individually, or otherwise accommodate. I'm posting this to see what level of interest there is in this, whether you would be willing or able to add a bead if you haven't sent yours in yet, or if you would be willing or able to send the mama a bead directly if you have. I've already talked to her before posting, and she said she's alright with receiving the beads individually (aka, giving the people who have already sent their beads her address, to send to her). For those mamas who have already sent their beads, if you would like to send one to her, let me know and I'll PM you her address, and for those mamas who haven't sent your beads, if you would like, perhaps (if it's possible), to add an extra bead to your packs for her.

I had to get a pack of like a bajillion beads (lol) so when I send mine (which I thought would be sooner than now) there will be a LOT in there. So there will be plenty to go around :-)

Hi!

I'm the add-on mommy. :) Thank you all so much for letting me join in! I participated in a bead swap with my first baby, and loved having such a tangible motivator with me during labor. I really look forward to having that same type of memento for this baby.

Huge thanks to those of you who are sending beads for me! If you've already sent your beads prior to my joining, please don't feel pressured to send me one if it's any trouble. (It was my own fault I missed the signups!) Of course, if you are able and willing to send one, I will treasure and appreciate it!

I am still waiting on a few sets of beads. I would like to have them heading back out no later than March first. If you haven't sent your beads, or I haven't heard from you, if you wouldn't mind touching base with me, just so I have a better idea of window for sending them back out, I would appreciate it. Okay, ladies, I'm sorry for being so behind. I've heard from all but one mama who wanted to be included. One of them bowed out (under understandable circumstances), so if it's alright, I'll send the beads to magpiemind, so she gets one from everyone without anyone having to pay extra shipping.

I will get the beads sent out on Wednesday, which should be enough time for me to receive the ones I haven't yet, and then if there are any that come in after that, I will send them individually. I'm *so* sorry things are so behind.

I planned on getting the beads sent out today, but with the storm that came through last night, DF didn't want me to try and drive home after dropping him at work last night, so I wasn't able to come work on them last night like I thought. I am almost finished getting them ready to send back out, but I *promise* they will be sent out tomorrow. I am sending them overnight or the fastest option they offer at the PO, so they should be back to y'all in time.

I'm so sorry things are not going as I had planned them.

Things happen. We all are in that rush mode before our babies come. I heard about the storm and how bad it was going to be for your area and was worried. We got some good snow here in KY.

Please don't spend the $ to send them overnight or even priority. First class is very efficient and will probably only cost $1 as opposed to at least $5 for priority. I realize I only speak for myself, but I think most of us can spare the extra day. Maybe just rush them to bean bean because of her circumstances.

I got the beads sent out today, finally. By the time I got them ready to send out, the post office was already closed. But they said even if I sent them with the fastest possible option, they wouldn't get there until Sunday, and Monday if I just sent them regularly, so I sent them regular. So they *should* be to everyone by Monday.
