January 2013 TWW Thread - Page 18

I sure have missed a lot. I took a few days off just dealing with wicked AF and working. I tried reading all the posts but I was behind about 150. Glad to see so many new people but hope your stay is short. I have an appt tomorrow at 10. Hope to start clomid again tomorrow and not bcp. I think this round I won't obsess so much about it.
Becky- I hope you can restart Clomid again after seeing the doctor! lots of hugs and good luck! smile.gif

dahlia: I'm on CD 21 of a generally 26-28 day cycle (with a 25 or 29 day cycle thrown in the mix sometimes just to be cute and all lol.gif ). So, I'm thinking I will test on CD 26 which will be approximately 14 DPO (not temping ATM, tracking CM and CP only). I'm fairly certain I O'd but can't be 100% sooooo, all that's just to say I'll most likely test in five days orngtongue.gif .

Becky: Hope everything works out today! Good luck!

whew, tgif ladies!!! how are you all today? I hope everyone's feeling positive and perky no matter where you are in your cycle! I've got my fingers crossed for lots of bfps for January smile.gif

Rachl it sounds like we're close to the same O schedule! When do you expect it exactly? I'm thinking I'll prob ovulate on Monday. As far as catching the egg, my husband and I have sex daily for around a week surrounding ovulation. So, since I'm anticipating ovulation on Monday we had sex daily starting on tuesday, and will continue until next tuesday. Do you use any OPKs or temping? They are very useful in timing your sex.

I'm tracking my temp. But that's all. I'm just planning on lots of sex! Lol. But I'm new to temp tracking so I'm but exactly sure what day I'll O.

Anyway, happy Friday :-)
haha yay for lots of sex lol! I just started temping this month too. I'm doing it so I can know exactly when I O, but am relying on OPKs so I know when it's within 24 hrs or so. I'm terrible at letting go of control haha! Good luck!
Lol! All the planning and tracking kinda makes my DP a little uneasy. He thinks the baby will come eventually, when my body is ready.
Morning ladies, yay for it being nearly the weekend! Anyone have anything special planned? No significant plans here yet, dh is working Saturday and it looks like we are in for some rain. A visit to the grandparents may be in order.
Mamacatsbaby not long until testing that's exciting! So looking forward to seeing some January BFP's!
Dahlia I hope the time your husband is away goes nice and fast so you can get back to the task at hand :-)

Rach my husband claims I was "nuts" last time we were ttc.

AFM CD13 here and I am feeling hopeful that we are doing all the right things to catch a little egg this month. went for a pedicure and a little bit of retail therapy and managed to pick up a maternity skirt for $5. Was very pleased with my find.
Thanks for all the good thoughts. I don't have any big cysts so I get to start the clomid tonight smile.gif the doctor says I may have ovulated later than I think since my period came later. Maybe the sperm had died since the IUI was earlier. Cervix is healing from the Leep 4 weeks ago so this round I can actually do more than just getting turkey basted. Hope everyone has a great weekend
post #350 of 986
Danielle, patience yes but I just don't have it, lol! What a nice evening you guys have planned, I'm jealous!

Haha dahlia! Have fun! I wouldn't complain either, especially be ause of my dreams lately. I HAVE to be ovulating because my hormones are crazy! I want to have sex so bad but my DH is working a lot. He better get done with work this week while I'm in AF because I don't know when I'm ovulating this month but I don't care! January is dtd month as far as I'm concerned!

I'm feeling positive too, but grrrrr, how long is this period going to last? It started Monday and today it's still heavy as heck! I'm thinking strong uterine lining, right?! Hopefully this month will be it!

How exciting Becky! When are you eating, not just cooking the turkey? I ask because turkey always puts me and DH in the mood, LOL.

Btw, we are in south Florida.

I have ovarian cysts on both ovaries, one of which is rupturing and causing my pain. And I can't do a thing about it.

I have to go home and research how this can affect fertility. I am so sad, and so upset, that this might cause us difficulties ttc.

I've worked so hard to try to make trying even possible (I lost 66 lbs in 2012). I don't want my chances to fizzle because of a cyst!!!
I hope your cysts don't get in the way greensad.gif how did you lose the weight? I did weight watchers and lost a lot but I've gained it back which really sucks greensad.gif

Morning all! 5.45am here - lol I wake up early naturally to read your posts!

Dahlia, serenyd and Suzie - thanks for all the info... I'll spend time thinking on it all -and surfing the web - later 😃 lol when I'm out of bed and off my phone!
Hi sparkle - you are so sweet that you have do little time and yet still spent ages writing to everyone!

There just seems to be a really good vibe with you ladies at the moment - I'm sure all this positivity is going to create some bfp next cycle... I can't wait to hear them
Apologies for my personals always being so random and missing people - lol it's hard to be
Accurate when typong on thr phone in bed - lol an its given me rsi!

One day past AF due only light spotting so far - debating whether to test...
Whatever happens my emotions have been hyper ever since O... Yesterday we had to take my husbands 17yo cat for her last vet trip.. She'd just spent 3 nights in there getting over uti and the runs, and her back legs stopped working... It has been killing me watching her suffer (4 days of migraines) but dh has never lost a pet before so I had to be gentle with him... Suffice to say yesterday had loads of tears and another migraine lol... But now I can finally get on with my life (she had been incontinent for 3 months!)

So ladies should I test?
Sorry about your cat greensad.gif did you end up testing?

I have an anterior cervix so after dtd the best way for me to get the little swimmers to stay where they need to is to lay flat on my stomach for awhile. They recommend at least 30mins.
@ jj I really hope af eases for you!
@ Chuord - :-) test!!!!! And let us know ASAP!
AFM I have anxiety disorder which I am medicated for and as of late I've been feeling amazing, but the last 24hrs I've felt a little flat and quite anxious, I just want to be pregnant so badly, I feel like its almost completely out of my control which I guess is what stresses me out. Also feeling exhausted. Early night tonight I think.
AF is much better thanks smile.gif how do you know what way your cervix is? Does your doctor tell you? That's probably such a dumb question but I always hear everyone talking about that!

I'm glad you're getting to start clomid again! Has AF eased up at all?

Hope you're doing well too!

AF has really eased up for me! Almost stopped actually which is so weird. My cycle keeps getting shorter and shorter. I got some vit e so I hope that will help me out. DH and I are going out to my work party tomorrow night so I will have some drinks. I am in PA currently but I am from Missouri. I hate it here so I am hoping we will get out of here soon! Definitely not my ideal place to raise a little one smile.gif

I have no idea why my phone decided to post a million times... Sorry guys haha!

Hopefully all the BDing on this thread will produce some sweet little babies :) It sounds like everyone has been very.. busy. lol

Apparently when my husband is away, and I can't BD, I shop instead. I just bought these boots! (in taupe)  http://www.amazon.com/ALDO-Wiegel-Women-Knee-high-Synthetic/dp/B009F14ZTM/ref=sr_1_1?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1357956367&sr=1-1&keywords=aldo+wiegel  I can't wait to wear them!

jj where would you prefer to live, instead of missouri? My sister lived in Missouri for a few years, and she liked it ok, because she loves storms. storms are definitely not my cup of tea, although it is so pretty there :)

Becky I'm so happy to hear that the cysts aren't big, and that you can start Clomid tonight! Sending extra baby dust your way!!

Blonhrt tell your husband, less work, more sex!! lol!

Danielle retail therapy is always a good choice :) Sounds like we're on the same page about that!  I hope you catch the egg this month!

rachl husbands don't understand the obsessing haha! I think they really don't understand the biology behind all the temping and testing with OPKs, so they just think we're insane! wild.gif

Blonhrt88, after an extra heavy period this month your uterus will be good and ready next month for the perfect lining for that egg you're going to catch.  There has to be a gain after all that pain!

Have fun with all the BDing this month ladies!  My poor DH couldn't keep up with BDing every day in December so we stuck with every other day this month :-)

I'm really, really trying not to spend the next week symptom spotting but I just can't help it.  Last month I had about 5 days of post-O nipple sensitivity/pain and then it disappeared.  I'm now 7-8 DPO (no temps; just based on CM/CP and quick onset of nipple sensitivity on CD16) and the nipple pain is still here.  Add to that, for the last 2 days my 21 m/o DD has increased how often she is wanting to nurse, both at night and during the day, asking as often as every 20 minutes (we co-sleep and I can't just sleep through it because of my nipples hurting, sigh).  She isn't sick and doesn't seem to be teething.  I wonder if she is detecting some kind of change?  Of course, the longer this symptom lasts, the higher I get my hopes up, which is exactly what I didn't want to do!

Welcome to all the new members! wave.gif

Going into my 3rd month TTC. Hoping for this month's to be my last TWW.

Rachl, I live not-so-far from where you are.

Sorry so short, gotta get some sleep, early morning tomorrow.

FX my clearblue digital OPKs will get here in the mail quickly. AF is winding down and I'm supposed to O next week!

Ohh cute shoes! But actually I live in Pennsylvania currently but I want to be back in Missouri again. I think it's the best state smile.gif and Pennsylvania is the WORST haha. At least where I am is the worst smile.gif

jj I'm sorry! I hope I didn't offend you! I'm just paranoid about tornados lol. There are definitely parts of PA that blow lol. Are you in the north or south? I can think of a town in PA I don't like but dont' want to say it and end up offended someone else haha! Missouri is gorgeous, i'm just a maryland gal :)

dahlia I loooove those boots! I am totally in need of a new pair too..... But alas this winter I WILL be pregnant and unable to wear them, must find a gorgeous pair of flat boots that don't cost $400 like the other pair at overland shoes I have been coveting for about three years.
serenyd HURRY MAIL MAN HURRY!!!!! Checking the mailbox a dozen times a day is almost as bad as waiting to ovulate. Hope they arrive ASAP.
angelkissedkids I hope you manage to find a distraction in the coming days for the unintentional symptom spotting. It's so hard not too isn't it.

AFM - the weather here is killer, nearing 80% humidity and 30degrees. Which is super hot for us. And on top of that i am bloated, like insanely, I look about 20wks pregnant. My belly feels full. It's odd. But the ovulation pain has subsided so I really hope we did enough to try and catch this little egg. On to the tww I guess. When I was pregnant with ds2 I had a positive hpt at cd22 so here's hoping I may be able to test early this it early around too. Fx.
Off to cast on some more baby knitting.

Oh no lol that didn't offend me. We're in Erie because of my husbands job and I just do not like it at all. People aren't very nice here either!
