Mamamash- There is hope. At the beginning of this pregnancy, chicken was giving me the runs every time, but I've eaten it a couple days in a row this week and had no problem. Steak and chicken could be back on the menu for you later.

I had a hard time cooking meat in the beginning with dd but it slowly got better. I guess time will tell! I was so surprised though. I was not expecting that at all! So I filled up on veggies rice and some shrimp. And ice cream 😃

My third beta doubled in 45 hours to 3317. Now I just have to wait two weeks for my u/s.

I had some pink spotting last night and today, so went in for an ultrasound. At first it appeared to be an empty sac, and told me it measured 6 weeks ( should be 5w 6d)  and that she was labeling it as a "threatened miscarriage". But then she moved the wand again and saw a little bit of white and a pulse. She asked if I saw a flicker and I did, I asked if that was a heartbeat and she said it was too slow that it was my pulse, but that it was still early to see a heartbeat on the fetal pole (the fetal pole measured exactly 5w 6d). So I have another appt next Friday and she said everything looks good. We were going to do more betas but I think it'd only cause me to worry so I refused them.

Good luck countrybound! I'm sure everything is just fine. Lots of women have spotting in early pregnancy. Keep us updated though!

I am supposed to have blood work today and on Thursday to check my numbers. Praying the numbers are good!

i had a doctor's appointment today. they said they won't be doing any more blood work. we had a first ultrasound - twins! we're pleasantly surprised and thrilled. everyone's measuring on target and looking good.

Omg mrsandmrs! How exciting!! Twins! Both of my sisters have a set of twins and they swear I'm having twins. My oldest sister says she can "smell the twins" haha. But I truly think its just one even with my crazy high hcg levels. Congrats! Twins are amazing 😄

I switched at my appt to 1/21. So a little less than 2 weeks and I should know. My morning sickness started this week and got bad enough that I actually vomited this morning. So that's a little curious. Time will tell 😉

Oh and I'm STARVING. All. The. Time. If I don't eat almost constantly I will puke. I lost it this morning because my stomach was so empty. Which is pretty normal I guess. But it's worse than it was with my dd. I had no appetite with her
