I've told some family and some close friends even before the ultrasound, but didn't want others to know until 12 weeks. My body has other plans though and I decided that I'm not going to not wear what's comfortable because I don't want people to guess, so que sera sera.

Yeah, that makes sense. I've told a few select people, but only my sister knows out of my family. And I'm already starting to get a bit of a belly, and my MIL misses nothing! I think I'll tell them a week on Sunday when I'm almost 8 weeks.

I think it is a MDC problem across the board. I have seen a lot of double posts today.

We chose a midwifery practice! Yay! Our first real appointment is on Tuesday.

I'm still waiting on my hormone test results. I had blood work done on Tue and yesterday.

How long does it usually take?!

I had a ultrasound last wednesday at 5w5d and we saw the baby with a heartbeat but we couldn't get a BPM on the baby since it was so small but the Dr did comment that the heart looked slow. This of course freaked me out because we had a 15 week loss between our boys who also had a slow heart early on and although she caught up she ended up having cyctic hygroma and fetal hydrops that wasn't found till 15 weeks.  We schedule a amnio but when we went for it she was gone and they scheduled me for a D&E.  That was a traumatic time for me so now when the Dr mentioned slow heart I am totally freaked out.  I am trying to tell myself that it was just slow because it was so early and probably just started.  They scheduled me for another U/S in 2 weeks but I calle dthem the net day and said I couldn't wait that long so I have a appt. this monday.  I am sure they think I am crazy but I need to know if this one looks normal for my own piece of mind.  I want this baby so much and I hope it was just the stupid OB opening her stupid mouth and saying something she shouldn't have.  This OB is another DR in the office that I haven't seen before.  She doesn't have very good bedside manner and I am planning on moving to my midwife for a home birth once we get past 12 weeks and the NT scan.  It can't come fast enough.  Anyone have any good stories about early slow heart rate for me?
