I just found out the Lupron I took for suppression in late Jan was just recalled. AWESOME!!! (not). Though it does look like I'll get my money back for it despite having used it already.

We must order from the same pharmacy. I haven't checked if mine was recalled. I only paid like $15 but it would be nice to get back!post #343 of 6312/25/13 at 9:55am- guppyluv

On principle, since I paid out of pocket, I figured I'd get whatever I could back :) They were disorganized on the phone but they said they'll send a mailing pouch to me and I'll ship it back to them... It doesn't look like there's any particulate floating in mine (which is what it says was the issue in the news release on their website).
Guess I'm glad I didn't have PIO shots from them as well (which were also recalled)... Despite it's ickiness, I'll take the Crinone over PIO any day!

Lol I just had to refill my Crinone & when I went to pick of up I was talking to a woman about how glad I was not to take PIO. I never saw anything floating in mine either.- Sourire

Can I officially join?
I started the BCP last week. Our last day is March 9th. The nurse said the busy week was March 18th and procedure week should be the week of March 25th. We'll (hopefully) grow them out to 5 or 6 day blasts when they'll take the sample for the pre-implantation genetic screening and then freeze them all. We may have to do a couple cycles before we have enough euploid embryos, but I guess that's one thing we're going to find out. My AFC before the pills was 15 and my FSH has been around 5, so that all sounds good. Hopefully, it'll all work out.
My blurb could be: After many losses we're trying IVF with PGS to find out if there are any good eggs left.post #347 of 6312/25/13 at 12:51pm- toothfairy2be

It was just the compounded Lupron from Village Fertility Pharmacy in Waltham,MA. If yours isn't from there you should be fine.post #348 of 6312/25/13 at 2:26pm- guppyluv

Welcome Xerxella! I'm so glad you are joining us. Best of luck with your upcoming cycle!
AFM - My second monthly Lupron injection is today. I cant believe I'm already halfway done the Lupron treatment and ill be starting my next FET cycle in exactly 4 weeks. The Lupron treatment is intense, I really feel like I'm in menopause. I have insane hot flashes every 30 minutes and I'm literally drenched in sweat each time. AF was due a couple of days ago but there is no sign of AF: no spotting, no bleeding, no cramping, no endo pain! What a wonderful relief to skip AF for a few months! I feel like the hot flashes are totally worth it as a price to pay for having this break from that monthly pain.

Toothfairy, I am so sorry for your loss. I had a similar experience, finding out the heartbeat had stopped weeks earlier.
I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. You're in my thoughts.

Am I the only one cycling right now? Day 4 of stims today... starting to feel a bit weird, but I'm also getting over a cold so it might just be that. No lupron this time, and I think that was giving me headaches last time I did this. I am feeling little twinges in the left ovary area.
