RCR - joy.gifbouncy.gifenergy.gifthumbsup.gifjumpers.gifcarrot.gifbroc1.gifbanana.gifjammin.gif  WooHoo! energy.gifenergy.gifenergy.gifenergy.gifenergy.gifenergy.gifenergy.gifenergy.gifenergy.gif

I'm super excited for you! goodvibes.gif  Sending magic sparkly thoughts for a happy healthy pregnancy.

AFM - I'm really not feeling it today. I'm super emotional (like crying at the newspaper, which usually means PMS for me), my stomach is queasy, and I got up to pee 5 freaking times last night... but another negative effing stick this morning. I think the "symptoms" are all just the stupid progesterone. I'm scared that I went through all this for nothing again.

RCR-joy.gifclap.gifenergy.gifCongrats, so happy for you.  I must chime in that I too had cramping and spotting.  Hope hearing everyone elses symptoms during their BFP helps you relax a little.  Happy and Healthy 9 months.

RCR -- Yay!!!!! joy.gif I am so happy for you! (And I too had quite a lot of cramping until about 8 weeks along--which really freaked me out.)

Laggie - you did a 3-day transfer, right? So the BFN could still be because the little bean(s) took some time to grow more before implanting. Sorry you aren't feeling it. I really, really want soooo much for us to both get out of here together.

Thanks for all of the congratulations, everybody. I actually haven't been cramping as bad this afternoon as I was earlier, so hopefully that is a good thing. Thanks everybody for coming out of lurking too.

Rcr- yay!!!! How many days post ET are you? You have any guess if it's one or two?? Mon beta right?? Did you call your RE yet to let them know?

Laggie - I still have my fingers crossed for you!!! When's your beta??? I hate how the meds can make you feel like you're pregnant but let's hope that's not the case here!!! Hoping & praying this is your time too!!!!

Today's trip to the doctor was interesting. We were driving through farm country and saw lots of white tailed deer. Luckily my husband had fast reaction time when 2 deer ran across the road. I saw the cutest twins on a billboard for an insurance company. Then I saw my money going to work with a giant billboard with life size pictures of my fertility doctors on it. The clinic is just off the highway about 5 miles down the road. Glad to have my doctor appointment done. Met the other doctor at the fertility clinic today. Dr. Young even did my ovary ultrasound. Right ovary has 6 to 8 follicles that may mature for retrieval and the left ovary has 12 to 13 follicles. Stepped down on the follistim to only 75 and staying with one menopur. Retrieval will be Wednesday or Thursday. I will find out on Monday at my ultrasound.

Laggie - I am thinking of you too.

Lilac - wow, your little eggs must be doing great! For comparison, at my last IVF I was on 750 units of Follistim (hence the larger size vials), and I only got like 5-7 eggs. I am so excited for you. I have had a few deer encounters in your area in the past, good thing your DH was able to avoid them!

Blue - ET was last Thursday, the 14th, so today I am 9dp5dt. My beta is at 9am on Monday. I didn't call to tell them, because I had a long meeting yesterday for most of the day, and I didn't want them to tell me to come in because the meeting was really hard to get out of. I have no idea if it is one or two. If it is two, then that means they won't be genetically related to each other because we put back two embryos from two different donors. I am secretly hoping for two (not telling DH) because I have always wanted 3 kids, and DH wants 2. Obviously we aren't going through this whole IF battle again, so if it is two then I win and get 3 kids. Of course I am going to count my blessings and be happy with any number of healthy babies.

Tee hee RCR - my friend was like that - her husband wanted 3 and she was adament about not being pregnant a 3rd time and they got twins their 2nd time - so they both won. :-) BTW, I wanted to tell you about a family at my daughter's preschool. Their daughter was conceived using donor egg (mom was 52 when she was born!). Her mom is very open about it with everyone. And they had leftover embryos. They just announced the birth of a little boy to a family they donated an embryo to. The mom and daughter will even be babysitting for the baby boy once/week while the mom of the baby works. Such an open and interesting situation, but so wonderful that the kids get to know their genetic sibling. :-) I am still so happy for you! Glad that line is darkening up. Can't wait for your beta so we can start guessing if it's twins or not.

Laggie: Praying for you!!

Lilac: Sounds like it's going great for you! I hope it continues to go as great and one of those eggies brings you your little one(s).

rcr, I hope you get twins! I am almost hoping for a singleton first, then doing a FET later with 2 embryos and hope for twins then because I too want 3 kids, but DH only wants 2. I am just hoping that I get pregnant with at least one healthy baby.  I am glad the needle sticking will only be for a few more days.  It is getting old.

vegan princess, I am praying that one of these little eggies gets me my little one too.  So many people around me are pregnant this year. I want to be pregnant too!

Rcr and lilac - I'm in the same situation : I want 3 kids and DH wants 2 so I've been secretly hoping to have one baby the first time I get pregnant, and then twins. Also that way is great because then there is no middle child. DH's main argument for not wanting 3 kids is that he thinks the middle kid will be messed up, which I think is silly.
