Cait, I'm so very, very happy for you. Congratulations!

Sourire, fingers crossed for your FET this week. Sending lots of positive thoughts.

SourireI will be thinking positive embryo nuzzling tuesday! How exciting!!

after thought

anyone else feel extremely tired while taking the estradial or sorts?

Sourire- Good Luck tomorrow! Also, if they have you fill your bladder on site, don't drink all 3 cups! About 20 minutes after finishing the second cup I thought I would explode. I can't wait for your 2ww to get underway!

Tracy- Everyone is different with the supplements. I haven't had any side effects from any of my meds, including BCPs, lupron, stims, estrase or crinone. Lots of people have terrible side effects though so if you are experiencing something then it is likely from your meds! When is your cycle starting?

Thank you Vegan and Krunchyk!

I'm not quite ready to move to graduates but will likely feel better after my betas come back. This is a whole different kind of stress :-/

Toothfairy - good luck with the beta. Did you take anymore tests today?

AFM - transfer is tomorrow but I don't know what time so I've taken the whole day off. They will call me sometime in the morning to give me the exact time. Then I go to the acupuncturist, then to the fertility clinic, then back to the acupuncturist. Good thing they are close to each other! Today I found myself crying at a random YouTube video of a flash mob haha, I'm thinking it must be the hormones. Other than that I have no side effects at all even though I'm on 5 different meds.

Sourire- I did yesterday AM & PM and today AM & PM, it wasn't until I put all 4 in a line I can see them getting darker. What a relief. You are going to do great tomorrow. The crying unexpectedly does not get any better but you will be so relieved after the transfer. Are they giving you anything beforehand? Acupuncture is just amazing and I really think it made a huge difference for me in this process. Can't wait for your update tomorrow! So since you are doing a FET you don't have a trigger shot, right? Any plan on when you might start testing or will you wait for your beta, which begs the question, when is your beta?

Sourire~ It is the hormones and you are doing great. just the fact that you manage this thread...lol

I second the acupuncture . I too am having it before hand and afterwards. i believe it was a huge contributor of us getting our baby. will you rest for 2 days? i will be online a lot tuesday if you wanna post then i can reply!!

Toothfairy~ My transfer is exactly in two weeks. right when sourire 2ww is over. Is your beta on wednesday?

Ok I got the call at 9am while I was still asleep and they wanted me to come in by 10:45 lol. I negotiated a bit more time so I could go for the acupuncture then DH and I threw on some clothes and ran out of the house without breakfast! Now we are stuck in traffic :P

Sadly my best blast did not survive the defrosting. But the second one they tried is alive and well.

toothfairy - nope I didn't have to do a trigger. I just reduced my estrogen dose and started progesterone last Thursday. I am not taking any extra meds for transfer, though I'm still taking aspirin, prednisone and an antibiotic to promote implantation. I think I'll probably start testing 1 week from today just like you did, though I've heard that frozen embryos sometimes implant a bit later.

Tracyamber - I'm going back to work tomorrow. I have a pretty relaxing desk job so I figured I didn't need to take any extra time off.

Ok it's done! Everything went well. My bladder was quite full so the doctor said I could go empty it a bit if I wanted, but since it wasn't unbearable I said no because I was worried I would empty it too much! After the transfer I only managed to rest 7 minutes instead of 15 because I had to go pee so bad. Beta is Friday January 25. Now I'm just focusing on relaxing as much as possible with the help of yoga and meditation.

The blast they transferred had a grade of 2BA. Since the first one didn't survive the thaw they took this one out just this morning so they didn't have time to see if it would start growing again but apparently it looked pretty good as far as they could tell. They also did assisted hatching on it.

Sourire, I'm sending you all the positive energy and thoughts I have within my whole entire being to you and your little embie!!!!!

Sourire- Sending good energy your way! Sounds like it went as well as it can! 2BA is still very good!! Can't wait for the 25th.

Sourire, glad to hear that your transfer went well.

AFM, I saw the ART nurse today and my RE as well.  We went over our schedule - February/March for now.  Some things at school might have me change the schedule to June/July.  Over the next week we will be for sure.  Today I had an HSG and mock embryo transfer. The actual procedures didn't hurt, but man 15 minutes later after talking with the doctor and paying our fees at the front desk, I had cramps so bad that I felt like throwing up and I got really hot and light headed like I was in the middle of my worst cramps when on my period.  It is CD5 and the HSG brought up bright red blood where this morning I was just having a little discharge. Glad I was still wearing my cloth sanitary napkins because the blood came pretty strong.  Feeling better now after a bunch of ibuprofen and some horizontal resting.  I am excited to moving forward!

Tracyamber - it was a day 5 embryo.

Lilac - I'm glad things are moving forward. That HSG sounds pretty rough, mine was nowhere near that bad.
Sourire - sending lots of positive implantation vibes and praying this is your time!!!

Lilac - wow, sorry your hsg was so rough!! Hope you can get your schedule figured out w/ your school schedule.

Lilac-- yikes! Hope you are feeling better now.

Sourire, more positive implantation thoughts across the miles...

TF, hope you are doing great, keep us posted. I can't imagine how stressful everything must be, even with all the happiness. With every milestone you reach, it does get easier...
