Not that this is news to me. I work in the health care industry. Nevertheless it is startling to see this summarized. Honestly I cannot understand how there are people out there that believe that this industry has the people's health and best interests at heart.

I agree. I think the pharmaceutical company has some dubious practices. 

 

However I do also think there are enough checks on their products (in terms of safety and efficacy), and particularly vaccines that they would not be able to cover up any massive safety concerns over vaccines.

It looks like their "checks" are more about profits than about safety and efficacy.
