How are you feeling? - Page 67

Mamamash; that sounds awful, I hope you are all recovered soon!

Blairmichelle; good luck with the move, I hope it all goes smoothly. I know what you mean, I've been feeling pretty useless too and it makes me feel guilty for not being more productive.

I literally feel too pooped to speak. I took some iron but still feel absolutely wrecked.
Anyone else just feel so tired it's like they've been drugged?

Vc2013- I've been having something in between BH and contractions. They are intense and somewhat painful. It puts a lot of pressure on my cervix but I only get one or two every few days. I am leaning towards them just being BH in my case.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Today Sheba to be better. Dd seems fine, she's eating and drinking again. I've been having some stomach cramps though.

I've been taking a 1.5-2 hr nap almost everyday since starting the 3rd trimester. So tired by the evening. When 2pm comes I'm ready for my nap. Even though I need a nap most days I've had lots if nesting energy!

Sometimes my BH get so hard and intense they feel very uncomfortable. Occasionally they feel crampy really low.

Psh, I nap every time my kid does and he still naps twice a day. Haha. I've done that my whole pregnancy.

I wish my kid still napped! So tired, every day...I did put on a movie for him yesterday and took a 1.5 hour nap, then went to bed at 9:30 pm and slept until 7:30 this morning.  Felt better, so the experiment proves that I would be fine if I could get 11-12 hours sleep in a 24 hour period. lol.gif

Cranky, cranky and more cranky this week. I just found out that my iron is low and I should start supplementing.  That might explain the tiredness, but it doesn't explain the cranky or the hormonal "I might start crying because you offered me a seat on the subway" mess that I've been today.  On the plus side, I appreciate getting offered seats on the subway.  And the low iron probably does explain the "I'm slowing down" feeling I've had all week.

I'm sure my bump is lower than it was. The baby feels closer to my pelvis as well; it feels like his shoulders are resting on the front of my pelvis which is definitely lower than he was. I thought that didn't happen until closer to birth, especially with second babies.

I have been feeling this way the past few weeks on and off! I think I might try upping my iron intake like you suggested.

The babe can drop into place at all different times and some drop deeper than others from what my midwife was telling me.

This is my third and my baby dropped over a month ago, well before 30 weeks! The babe is just getting lower and lower at this point, it feels like if I sneeze the babe is just going to fall out!! Lol When it stretchs I get stinging pains down through my clitoris and just 2 days ago I've been getting Jump out if my seat shooting pains in the front of my pelvis and the feeling that the babe is trying to come out my butt all at the same time when the babe stretches. It's really unnerving!!!
My midwife checked me last week and confirmed all my sensations when she found the baby SUPER low. I remember these feelings from my last child's pregnancy and my birth was less than 3 hrs long. I am preparing for the same sort of birth just in case.

LetniaLynne; thanks for that! I hope a shorter labour will be the case for me since my daughter was a 40 odd hour labour, which wasn't the best. But he has definitely dropped; when I sit down my belly now rests on my thighs, and I'm definitely peeing more as well.

I'm tired and really angry with everyone. Now I'm getting lots of heart burn, mainly when I'm at work coz baby is so high it's really hard to bend.

Ugh!  The heartburn and reflux is miserable.  I can't even bend down to get the laundry out of the front loader without something "coming up" into my mouth.  Ewwwww!

Same here! I feel like I have to pee but like JUST went. It's not a UTI because I have no other symptoms. Sometimes I actually do really have to pee immediately after *just* going like 15 minutes before!!! And I have just plenty-- it's not like a drop. How is that even possible?!?! I feel like she's on my pelvic area too-- lots of pressure and kicks or punches. She even kicked my laptop when I rested it on my belly (yeah pretty stupid!) and does the same when I rest my arm anywhere. So rude! But that's ok because I freaking adore her and her little ninja skills. wink1.gif

My hips are finally hurting. Thought I would squeeze by that pain from my diligence with the Chiro. Darn. I'm getting a weird bout of energy (could it be the chlorophyl?!?! I'm taking religiously now) and being stupid and not going to bed.

DH and I went to "funky town" as they say in Parenthood (haha!) and BOY was that UNCOMFY. Ugh! Just 2 weeks ago I wanted it. Of course. Totally don't now. It actually made me nauseated and I felt huge and self conscience. Luckily DH was very sweet about it. I feel bad but what can I do? Ugh. Hope it'll be better next time. It's good for me too and I like to enjoy it if I can!!!

I really need to go to bed ugh!!!

Yes me too ladies... YUCK heartburn! And acid reflux or something vomit-y. It. Is. Terrible. I didn't have this either with DD so I'm especially annoyed. Anything to get rid of it? I'm thinking smaller meals will help. I'm trying to STOP eating the second I feel full.

Yup, the peeing has definitely increased a lot for me too! But the heartburn/ reflux has mostly gone for now which is good, and the rib pain isn't quite as bad.

The most pleasant physical sensations I have in life these days are of relieving my bladder.  It's so insane how much relief I feel when the horrible pressure from of all my hot summer day water chugging is eliminated and there is a bit more room in my pelvis.  Eliminating wind has the same effect, and I usually don't even know I had so much trapped air, but the double whammy of relieving fluid and air and creating less pressure low in my pelvis is such sweet relief that I usually let out some sort of a physical sound!

I used to get my most intense physical sensations from sex.  Now I just crave more room in there more than anything.

That's it exactly, Serafina! We need more room in there!

I've been having a lot of reflux lately, too.  It's awful.  I've never had it before and now feel so bad for those who deal with this when they aren't pregnant, too.

My hips have been hurting more at night and are getting to where no pillow positioning really seems to help.  I usually wake up, switch sides, which relieves the pain in one but moves it to the other, and get my sleep between flips.

And I'm still getting up multiple times to pee every night, but it doesn't seem quite as bad as before.  During the day I often feel like I need to pee, but am then surprised at how little it is for how urgently I felt the need to go.  And then 15 minutes after going, I have to go again.  I had an almost accident the other day when I stupidly drank a liter and a half of water during a meeting and then had to sprint out, across a university campus desperately asking random students where the closest bathroom was and just barely making it on time.

My feet swelling is a little better, but mostly because I've managed to get them elevated quite a bit.

I'm totally depressed, I seem to have gained 33 pounds so far.  And ten weeks to go, which probably means I'll crack the 50 pound mark again.  Sigh.

aw Serefina - I'm at 40 already. It's ok. It's all for baby. My body image hasn't been the best during pregnancy - but I try not to focus on it. My doc reassures me that it's all for a good reason. :-)

AFM - this back and hip pain... grrrrrrrrr. Now I get this pain that shoots up my hamstring at random times. It causes my knees to buckle. NOT HOT

this. my boss really picked a bad time to be fucking things up in the work place.. i got so angry at him and me having to fix everything afterwards that i decided to stay at home this morning. (i had planned to go in, but then i got a nasty stomach ache and since i made this deal with myself that my health comes first, this is just what has to happen.)

also: achy all over, despite almost nightly massages. shortness of breath. hard to move, but also hard to just sit around. i wonder if i might transition into just existing for the remaining weeks. i have my baby shower in three weeks, hopefully i'll have some energy for that still!!
