Serena76- I switched to Zuplenz (it's expensive, but they are peppermint-flavored dissolvable strips of Zofran). That combined with frozen lemonade made me able to function today. You might ask your doctor. I had a coupon, so I paid $20 instead of the $50 it normally costs. Ask your doc if they might have something like that.
I'm feeling exactly the same as you, Serena! I hate having near constant nausea. I've actually just started wearing travel sickness bands in hope of some relief.
Really really feeling nauseous today. And I'm heading out to take the girls to the first storytime session at the library for this quarter. Ugh. I don't want them to miss it, but I'm just hoping I don't puke...
I've had a pretty bad day today as well; I spoke too soon when I said I was getting it easy! But then my OH reminded me that I haven't had kefir for a couple of days, so that could be the problem. I'm going to have some tonight and tomorrow morning, so it'll be interesting if it really does make the difference I think it does.
Other than that I've been feeling the cold a lot more than usual, which is a bit annoying! The smell aversions are also starting to kick in.
Ha Ha, this is me exactly. I'll be five weeks tomorrow, and so far it's been lots of RLP, sore nipples (DS is still nursing), weepiness and extreme hunger. I eat a large meal and then within an hour or two I'm starving again! I've also been sleeping badly, which is new. I hope that one goes away soon. I'm expecting to start feeling the nausea next week sometime. It showed up around a little before six weeks my previous pregnancies.
During my first pregnancy, I needed to eat every two hours or I would feel nauseous. This time, I need to eat to get rid of nausea but the thought of eating makes me want to vomit. Sooooo...I cringe as I eat a cracker, and by cracker number three, I feel better. It is awful to shove food down my throat when the last thing I want is to eat. Also, the heightened sense of smell really kicked in today. I am a Special education teacher who does home visits, and as I approached a home this morning, I smelled ketchup (a food I HATE!) and once I got inside, right on the table in the kitchen was a plate of french fries with a side of ketchup. I was pretty impressed as it was 29 degrees and the smell made it all the way out the front door! Anyone else feel less tired when they are at work? I work three days a week and I was more exhausted when I was home this week..go figure.
Today I can confirm that kefir makes my morning sickness a lot more bearable! So I highly recommend it for anyone, it really does make a huge difference. Yesterday i was feeling awful and dreading the rest of the week, but today it's back to being relatively mild and manageable.
Frozen lemonade helps mine.

Ooh, that sounds quite tasty!
It is. I think Minute Maid makes it. I got it at King Sooper's (Kroger).
I'm wishing I could feel some nausea. Really shocked at how symptomless I feel when with my son I had lots of nausea by 4.5 weeks! I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and the fact that this pregnancy feels so different is making me concerned! I guess I'll see how I feel in another week or so. But feeling a little freaked out by my lack of symptoms this time around and hoping everything is ok.

Just made some kefir today. :)
Something weird is going on with me. For the last hour or so my left nipple HURTS...sharp pain, it feels like it's being squeezed by blocks of ice, and nothing can warm/sooth it. It just started out of nowhere when I was sitting on the computer. I've had nipple tenderness for the last few weeks now, but only when their pushed/pulled, and nothing resembling this.
Anyone ever heard of/experienced anything like this?
