Yes what your describing sounds exactly like Reynauds syndrome. I had it for years when I pumped for my first child. Here is a good link, if you go to the section at the bottom it describes Reynauds nicely. It is also common during pregnancy.

What helped for me was keeping warm overall and away from foods that had constricting properties like coffee.

oh boy the morning sickness has hit. I'm having a hard time thinking about food. I feel like a horrible mom my boys got cup of noodles for lunch because its all I could do.  ODD made her own lunch to bring to school. :( bad mommy

 

on top of that my 21 month old DS came down with a fever last night and he wants me to sit and hold him all day.

bohemianmama, you made me crave cup-o-noodles so I had them for dinner, nice and healthy, yum! My problem is not so much queasiness, I just don't have much of an appetite unless I can think of the taste of something specific. After reading your post the instant noodles sounded good so I went with that!

Lol cup o noodles. How bad is it to always suck on candy? Lemonheads make me feel so much better. I hate eating junk food but I also hate feeling like crap

My mantra is that anything that makes you feel better during the first trimester is okay. Anything apart from crack. Lol. orngtongue.gif

In all seriousness, if lemon candy prevents you from puking all day and allows you to eat, go for it. There are much, much worse things out there.

With my last pregnancy I lived off instant noodles from the chinese supermarket; I was so unhealthy back then!

I'm nauseous all the time the only things that make me feel better are stodgy, bready type things. An normally I've a massive sweet tooth, but now I only want savoury stuff. But it's making me put on weight already 😣

Hhmm...6.1 weeks and don't feel sick. It's truly mystifying me. Worrying me too. Just sooo sooo hungry. I awoke wanting foood. That never happens. I guess there's a chance morning sickness could catch up with me later in.

I've been dreaming of food, mostly desserts.

 

Still no sign of morning sickness, which I'm glad of, but makes me a bit nervous.

Mine is pretty bad today. Cheese sounded like something I could stomach so I took a bite and as soon as the taste hit I gagged. Had to run to the bathroom and lost it. My appt is Monday, I'm so hoping to get some zofran.

I am very happy to say that I feel pretty darn good, at least for now! I'm about 7 weeks, and in the last week I occasionally feel a little nauseous or burpy (haha, like from getting motion in the car) and a little more tired, but I am really thinking that my nutritional and supplemental efforts pre-conception have really paid off. I'm so thankful! This is #3 so I want to be up and around. I didn't have any nausea with my second, but was very fatigued. We'll see how things go the next few weeks.

Do you take B vitamins by chance? I can't help but wonder if that's why my symptoms are so mild this time. Since my last pregnancy I have had A LOT of B vitamins including B12 injections (I was very low before...now I am not). I also take B complex vitamins daily.

I took milk thistle for about 8 months before conceiving (did that before second pregnancy as well), did some gut healing early last year, and also worked to increase my magnesium levels. I feel those three factors were significant.

othersoul, interesting that you bring up B vitamins. I take a B complex on top of my daily multi and extra niacin. My symptoms have been very mild so far.

No, but I do take fish oil and D vitamin on top of my prenetal, as well as two walnuts and a Brazil nut daily.

 

What I have noticed is that eating wheat makes bloating and gas really really bad (painful and very noticeable). So I guess wheat is off the menu for me, which is going to be hard because I mostly crave pasta and carby sweets - it's just that those things are making me feel like crap.

Been feeling just awful, sooooo sick. I really feel like crying most days. The nausea is extremely bad. I am so lucky to have an amazing family, they are doing everything on the house as I sit around and try to not throw up, I'm at the end of 9 wks and trying to imagine the next month just flying by!!!! I can't wait to be past all this!!!
