Does anyone know if there are accommodations available for dyslexic children trying to get a driving learner's permit? My daughter has a friend who has failed three times because she struggles to read the test. We have read the manual to her at home so she knows the info, she just can't pass the written test. The part with road signs she does fine.

Not sure what state you are in, but here in IL there is an online practice test.
DH is dyslexic and a good driver. He said it sounds like she's just more nervous about the test. When did she get her formal dx?

We are in GA. She got her dx in elementary school. They school district is currently re-evaluating her. I finally found something online and they can give her an oral test. She does fine on the road signs part, it's just the written part she keeps messing up on. She has to get a 75 to pass and she keeps getting a 70.
