Number of midwives interviewed?

How many midwives should I interview? This will be my first home birth. Thank you!

I just interviewed one! But she came with the highest recommendations from friends who had utilized her, and I also just instantly clicked with her. I think interviewing a few is the norm. Or really, interview as many as you need to before you find someone who you really jive with. Good luck!

Interview all of them if you feel like you have the time.

With this last pregnancy, I talked to four midwives on the phone and met with two of those in person.

I planned on interviewing a few, but we really just clicked with the first. She was exactly what I wanted, so I just went for it.

I have 3 set up with interviews scheduled. There is one that I really clicked with on the phone and really hoping to get her.
