Anyone else getting strong vibes about whether baby is boy or girl? - Page 2 « Back to Group Discussions

With both previous pregnancies I had severe HG and was so very sick. They were both girls. This time I have made it to 8 weeks with some strong nausea but No vomiting. So, in my mind, I am pretty convinced it is a boy. We probably will wait until the birth to find out. I think I would be shocked to find out it is a girl (but delighted, we already have all the girl stuff.)

I'm pregnant with my 4th as well and have always "guessed" correctly also. I'm 11 weeks today and I have a strong feeling that I'm having a girl. I have an 8 year old dd, 4 year old ds, and a 3 year old dd. I'm "hoping" for a boy but like I said I have a feeling its a girl, maybe i'm wrong this time :)  I have a u/s on feb 1 and i'll be 14 weeks and 1 day so I'm hoping we can possibly find out then but even that may be to early. When do you find out?

For those of you whose symptoms are different, I have heard too many stories where that was the case and it was still the same gender! I think every pregnancy is just different.

We were kind of trying for a girl when I got pregnant in August. I was taking supplements that are supposed to influence acidity, which apparently matters. I had a feeling it was a girl, or at least there was a chance it was a girl! Then we miscarried, and I stopped taking everything and we simply DTD one night after I had been inspired by a (sex) dream and what do you know, got pregnant that cycle. So, based on timing of BD, plus my previous propensity for boys, I'm thinking it will be another one!

I'll find out about 20 weeks, which isn't until the end of March.  :)

Yeah, at first I was thinking girl. Now... I have no idea, anymore

With our first, my boyfriend and I both said "boy" the second we found out we were expecting, which was confirmed without a doubt at the 20 week ultrasound, even though we were already sure :)

 With this one, me, my boyfriend AND my girlfriend all said "girl".  And my boyfriend was also right about my step daughter when her mother was pregnant, so he's got a 100% correct record, so we'll see if that holds :)

I was talking to someone and said "This will be the first granddaughter, uhhhhh I mean grandchild..." And since then I have had feelings of it being a girl. I don't really care which sex as long as baby is healthy. Each one is an amazing adventure to be sure! :)

I feel more like I did with dd than with ds, so I'm guessing girl.

I have had much different cravings with this baby than with my daughter (beef specifically, after bring a vegetarian for years). So I really feel like it's a boy.

I'm having more boy vibes again. We're still not planning on finding out until he or she arrives though :) We both really love the surprise!

My DD was a surprise at birth and I was sure she was a boy! My pregnancy has been pretty different this time so I am thinking boy--I have had more headaches, more cramping, my hair on body is growing super fast, I have been having a lot of night sickness, more tired, boobs more sore....But I am not sure if there is any real science to different pregnancy=different sex.  My husbands side of the family has a TON of boys so I assume we will have one too....

I think I'll be taking the MaterniT21 test in a couple of weeks, so we might find out really soon!
 

Got the results back and it's a girl!   Also all the trisomy tests came back negative.

That's wonderful, somegirl!!!!! Unfortunately, the Sequenom lab made a mistake on my MaterniT21 test, and I had to have my blood redrawn today. Ugh. I would have known by now if they hadn't made this mistake.

Aww, tcb, that's disappointing. I hope they are able to expedite it this time to make up for it!

It's all right. Honestly, when the nurse called me, she said "I have some bad news" and my heart jumped about a mile. When she explained the lab mistake, I was all too happy for that to be the bad news! Much better than the other kind of bad news.

Oh!  How rotten she said it that way!  Thank heavens it was just a lab error, not actual bad news.

I really feel like I am having a girl this time. Pregnancy feels a lot like pregnancy with my dd. also, I am 12 weeks, and in spite of wicked hyperemesis by 12 weeks pregnant with my son, my butt had grown huge!!! I mean, I was seriously shapely with some major da donka donk. This time, I've got my usual modest bottom, so I'm thinking "girl". Hee hee.

I was so sure I was having a girl that I only thought of girl names. I had my u//s and it's a BoY!!! I'm now trying to find a boys name with the meaning "for once mom was wrong and dad was right" Any suggestions lol
