My kids are home schooled but take some outside classes. My 8yo has a full day of classes on Mondays, which started back today, as did gymnastics for my younger two. I was so NOT ready for this! We got out the door late, in part because I depended on my big kids to help with laundry which they didn't do well. I had nothing to eat and was absolutely miserable by the time we got somewhere I could get food that sounded decent. And as I was driving, I was thinking, "Hmm, I'm not sure a bagel is good because it's awful when it comes back up." :eyeroll I did end up with a bagel and juice and survived gymnastics, but couldn't find anything for lunch (and obviously hadn't prepared well enough to take anything with me!). By the time I found something I could actually get AND eat, I was throwing up in the car. greensad.gif Which is pretty miserable, I gotta say, especially when there are people around (not to mention the kids) and you're trying to turn and contort so not to be noticed, meanwhile filling a to-go cup with bile. Yeah. Not fun. greensad.gif

In better news, a sweet wool diaper cover I ordered for the baby arrived today. love.gif Has anyone else bought anything special for baby yet? I feel like I want to do *something*, yet it's still so early. My 5yo asked if it was for my 2yo, and I evaded the question. I'm really wanting to tell them so will have to do that soon. I think it will be easier. Besides, I need to see my MW soon and it will be hard to hide that since she comes to my house. smile.gif

I came home after my DS's classes and crashed for a nap with the 5yo. Slept right through the mom's group I'd been planning to go to. greensad.gif But the sleep was gooood. Much needed. DS slept pretty much as long as I did, too, so clearly he needed it! And we managed to get the garbage taken out tonight and cleaned up a little in the living room. Tomorrow is an all-cleaning, all-day kind of day. A friend is paying for maid service and it starts Wednesday, so we have to get ready! thumb.gif I just hope I can manage to get the cleaning done. I've had zero energy for any of this for a loooong time. redface.gif

Not sure where to put this, but I'm out. Good luck and a happy and healthy nine months to all!

Oh no. So sorry, aphel.

I am so sorry for your loss, Aphel.

Heather, how come you have to clean if someone is coming to do it? I mean I know some things have to get picked up so the person can clean, but surely not all day? That sounds...exhausting. I wish you luck with it.

Also, I deeply sympathize with your bile in a cup episode. I am traveling for work today and I'm definitely not at my best. I have a lot of fears that a hunger situation will quickly become secret bile in a cup. Hang in there, lady.

And Heather, I totally agree with Crafty: what's going on over there? Hahahahaha! I'd be so psyched ifseone was coming to clean our house. Totally jealous! I tidied up and vacuumed our first floor yesterday and it jus about killed me smile.gif

Aphel, my heart goes out to you.

Heather, we have a cleaning lady once a month and I definitely clean the night before she comes orngtongue.gif Mostly it's just picking up and putting away that hasn't gotten done in the last month but it sure feels like cleaning sometimes.  Coming home on that day is my favorite day of the month!  Clean floors!  Clean bathroom! Clean everything! Yay! :)

Today my DD turns 1. I am a weepy mess over it. My little baby, a toddler. Wahhhh! I sometimes wonder how I will love another baby as much as I love her. I know it will happen but she is the center of my universe right now so it's hard to imagine. I love this little blueberry inside me, but it's not the same (yet).

Aphel I'm sorry for your loss.

Cardigan, I planned out my outfits last night. I have two empire waist dresses that still fit, two pair of slacks that are on my bigger side usually, and I bought two new blouses at gap that are styled to be loose. I also bought a new scarf that can hang down and hide my belly. I'm just worried about the banquet. The dress I bought, months ago, is very fitted. I am borrowing some spanx to see if that will allow me to pull it off. wink1.gif

Well girls, I got the stomach bug that my son had... I hope... Oh God, please let this not be the beginning of even worse morning sickness. Blech. I guess I'll know in a day or so.

Big big hugs, mama.

aphel - so sorry, take care of yourself.

melly - I hope you feel better soon! At least stomach viruses are usually quick.

We just got back from the ER where DD1 received her first set of stitches. Eight of them right on her eyebrow. She decided to show me how fast she could run by flying around the coffee table where she then tripped and slammed her head onto a speaker next to the TV. Lots of crying and blood and a few hours later she had eight stitches, a princess wand, a balloon and a popsicle and was declaring "This was great!!!" Um...no kiddo, we better NOT do this again for a long time. At least the kid's obviously not traumatized one bit.shrug.gif At least I was too busy and overwhelmed today to feel very sick! Tomorrow is a rainy day and I think we will all be exhausted so hopefully everybody will sleep well tonight and nap tomorrow...a girl can dream can't she?

I am hoping to wait another couple weeks before we tell more people but DD1 is so excited she told all the nurses in the ER we were having another baby. We don't know anyone at this particular hospital where I took her but we live in a small town and I would prefer wait a little longer before EVERYBODY in town knows. I may have to distract her a bunch in the grocery store, lol.

jaw.gifWhat? 4 months? That's a really, really long time!!! Good luck, I think you're going to need it! I was going to be jealous about the sleeping in, but I guess you'll be on the other side of that for quite a while!!

Those of you wondering about maternity pants......I got my yoga pants and cords at Motherhood.  It was an outlet store up in Park city, but they weren't a super discount or anything.  The yoga pants are allllll I'm wearing these days.  I think I might have to wash them tomorrow.  :(

I also bought two pairs of jeans from Walmart, super cheap.  But one of them has a really tight waist band, and even though it's up high at the top of a stretch belly band, they're not the most comfortable all day.  The other pair looks cute when first washed, but then they're a bit stretched out and saggy looking.  But I guess that's why they're cheap walmart pants, and at least they give my belly some room!  :)

Yeah, that! I'm beginning to freak about DH going cross country for a long weekend! It normally wouldn't be a problem at all, but I'm not sure how I'll manage if I still feel like crap. But I digress... The point is: you are super woman!

Ha! Wait a couple months before you go ordering the plaque. I'll be lucky if I can keep us all alive and clothed until April...
