Belly Pics - Page 5

Well I finally gave in and took a belly pic. I'm 10w4d. I still think most if not all is bloating. I'm really constipated and bloated. I have a hard time believing I am actually showing at 10 weeks. I didn't look this pregnant with my dd at 16 weeks.. And I was constipated and bloated with her too but not as bad as I am this time. Who knows! All I know is I feel huge and I am already having to rubber band my pants.

Yeah, I still don't know if this is baby or not so I haven't taken one. Ugh. So not as much fun as my first. There was no guessing the first time...

My belly is smaller after I've had a bowel movement! Maybe it is due to constipation. I know with the 2nd and subsequent one that the belly does pop out quicker. I didn't have a belly at this time with my first.

My baby update app said this week the uterus would be moving up in the abdomen, well I feel like my uterus is practically in my throat. Over-achiever.

How far are you Madelyn? I'm 10w5d and can't seem to feel my uterus yet. Or I don't know what I'm feeling for? That's a good possibility. Or also it could just be that it's still behind my pubic bone.

I haven't been able to feel the fundus, but I can feel how big my uterus is getting inside - lots of pressure, ligament pain, I'm giant, etc. I am 11 weeks 4 days, or 11 weeks 1 day, depending on who you believe smile.gif

From what I recall, though, the fundus feels like a ledge of sorts. Like a firm lip.

I remember with my dd all of a sudden I could feel it and it was unmistakeable. So I'm almost certain I have not felt it yet. But I do feel huge and I have tons of round ligament pains. So who knows

I'm already feeling and looking huge. Last time at 11 weeks I was barely showing at all! This time I'm massive!

I want to see some twin mama photos.  MrsAndMrs (and other twin mamas...do we have any others currently?), don't leave us hanging!

I feel huge, like everyone else.  With my girls, I gained (and lost, postpartum) about 40 pounds with each pregnancy.  This time, I have only gained 2 pounds, and I am 10 weeks.  This may be the first pregnancy where the scale isn't beating me up, but the silhouette in the mirror is.  My friend saw me the other day and told me I didn't even look pregnant, which was probably a placating platitude, but it did make me wonder just how fat I have looked to her in the past if I DON'T look pregnant now!  :)

You look about the same size as me, and I keep wondering about the possibilty of twins. For me it's probably more likely because it's a second pregnancy, but I do wonder!

aidenn - you are sweet to ask. i haven't posted because i am afraid my belly photos would disappoint! i think i just look kind of "fat" and thick in the waist so far, so i have been waiting for something impressive to pop out before i start taking photos. i am convinced that my friends are kind of looking at me and wondering how much i binged over the holidays, but of course no one has said anything and i'm being self-conscious. i am kind of chubby to begin with, and it's my first pregnancy. so my chub has migrated up a bit on my abdomen, and my uterus is bigger and harder, but it doesn't look like a bump yet. also, i don't wear pants (only skirts and dresses - i'm not like a pantless wonder walking around flashing people) so my clothing silhouettes are a lot more forgiving than jeans and a t-shirt would be.

all this rambling to say nothing to see here, but hopefully soon! i am okay waiting because i know when i start to show, i am going to get really gigantic and stay that way for a long, long time. so i can be patient. we also haven't told many people yet, and i like the secret.

Funny story - I'm a tutor and yesterday one of my student's little sister, who is 4, said:

"Carly?  Guess what?"

 "What?"

"You look like you have a pregnant belly!"

Thanks, kid!

I was reading about when your uterus "pops" above your pubic bone. It normally happens around 12-14 weeks. I also just met with my midwife for my 12 week appointment and as she put it "is right there" and should pop any day. She also said since I was thin I would notice lol! I can't wait since I have not heard the heart beat yet and she said as soon as I pop she should be able to hear the heart beat with the dopler. I can't wait!!!

That's a nice wee bump. I look like the moon compared to you, and I'm only a week ahead!

You ladies all look so cute. I'm jealous. Still nothing to see here. I'd be happy to post a picture but seriously, nothing... I'm thinking maybe in April?

dakipode -with my first one, I didn't show until 4 months along.  And really didn't even look pregnant until about 6 months.  With my second now, my body is filling out quite quick!

You're all so nice. I just feel fat. But, this is my second pregnancy so I think my body just knows what's up. I'm still not 100% convinced that'd baby belly.. I still think the majority of it is bloating. I had no belly at all until 16 weeks with my dd and didn't look pregnant until 20 weeks.
